A few words from clauderainsrm:

Welcome to Week 1 of LJ Idol: Friends and Rivals!

As you may know - this mini-season is a little bit different in that there are options to “play as teams” as well as playing as individuals.

LJ, being LJ, decided that (for space), that I needed to separate the polls. So I am cutting this message and pasting it in both posts. :)

Make sure you go over and check out the other one though - because what you are seeing here is only half of the goodness that awaits!

No real spiel this time around - other than to say that with the Teams, the scores of each group will be averaged and the team with the lowest score will be losing the member with the fewest votes.

For the individuals, it’s just the person with the entry receiving the fewest votes.

(Translation: We will be losing two contestants this week)

So make sure to read, comment and vote for your favorites! It’s the only way you can guarantee that you will get to see more of them in the weeks to come!

The poll will be closing Thursday, December 10th at 10pm EST

Are there really two teams calling themselves "Team Raspberry Pi"? I mean, if that's what happened then I'm fine with it, but I'm just checking to see whether there was a misunderstanding somewhere...

Oh wow. I feel like maybe I should have read the directions about how this was going to work more closely. It ends up looking like those of doing this team style kind of voluntarily signed onto Redemption tribes!

Sorta. Save they're working together, and Only on tribe loses anyone on any given week, though. Until There's a Twist, I guess.

Whew! Done. Read all. Commented on all but one because there was one of those test things to complete before comments are accepted, and after my third attempt I gave up. Oh well, maybe next time I wont be racing to finish at the last hour. Some seriously great reading!
