Green Room - Week .5 - Weekend Edition

Most of the extended weekend has been really fun. But when you are also going from "my throat is a little scratchy" to "when did I swallow this Brillo pad?" to "OMG, make this stop!" in the process it can take away some of that fun.

Today is all about resting, and hoping that I'm well enough tomorrow to go into work.

I've been working all weekend as usual. I'm training a brand spankin' new coworker all this week and I'm like, "Uh...oh yeah, I have to slow down enough to explain things rather than just doing them outright without thinking..." It's a very weird concept.

Speaking of The Giving Of Thanks, I ran across my oldie-but-goodie entry on this very topic not long ago. I thought I'd lost it in the Great Laptop Switch but SO had saved it on his computer :)

My weekend was filled with a family gathering and a friend's wedding... and between all that and the travelling to reach each event I have had *ZERO* time to put ass in chair to write.

So no, I am *NOT* ready to get this thing started for real!!!

This weekend has been lovely. I haven't left the house since Thursday, except to walk next door and take care of our neighbor's pets. I really needed some downtime, and this was great. Gave me time to put together an entry, too. I am definitely ready to get this thing started! I rather wish this .5 week had been a 1.0 week, especially since I'll have considerably less time next week. Heh.
