A work day for me. If I could be off I'd sleep one more hour and then get up and write/ edit on After The Truth, my book. I'd prob work out too.
Good thing I love my job and don't mind going in.

I would be working tonight, except that I took the week off. Working for the state can be a good thing. The pay is low, the hours terrible, and the job is thankless, but I get a lot of time off.

I'm still debating signing up. We'll see if my indecision will resolve itself soon.

I don't have time to play. I'm still in the middle of writing two stories for publication (one I'll publish myself in the anthology I'm working on, one I'm hoping will be accepted in another anthology, which is being edited by a writer I published in my last anthology). On top of that, I've got an acting class that is a bigger commitment than I thought, what with me having so many lines to learn and I need to figure out character for that and so on.

But I recently had a couple of people I know from the Bay Area asking me where they could learn to be better writers, so I directed them here as the place I got better. I'm not sure if they've signed up though.

My kids have the day off today so I'm looking forward to not having to leave the house and hopefully have more time for that aforementioned writing I'm doing.

Hey, they wanna write, they gotta kick themselves. That's what I do! How else would I have managed to finish kicking out my 4,300 word story last night? XD It's not like I was writing it for Idol where there are plenty of other people to do the kicking for me!

I usually work on holidays (double pay!) but I have too many overtime hours already this week, so I have to take the day off. First order of business was sleeping in until 10:30. Now I need to figure out what else to do. Dinner tonight with some friends I have seen in a couple of weeks (they're cooking).

I should be at work. Classes are canceled but there's no rest for the wicked...except I woke up barfing and now I'm laying in bed trying not to move, because when I do, the barfiness resurfaces. :/

Honestly, I wish I was at work instead of sick!

I am not wishing for anything right now, because (A) as a New York State government employee I am off work today, and (B) I am now part of an international writing team that will *DOMINATE* LJI like it has never been *DOMINATED* before!

I did not have the day off, but my daughter did. Fortunately, her after school place had activities today, so off she went.

I had the day off. Slept in a bit, bopped around Facebook, did some shopping, made dinner... not much of great import. :)
