Happy St Patrick's Day! What could be more "St Patricks Day" than a GREEN room?

At this point, everyone has fans and supporters - and anyone leaving is going to be rough - and everyone is hoping that it's going to be rougher for people they *aren't* backing! :)

Which is normal. People get emotionally attached and everyone has their own bias.

MY bias is that we have a great season and a winner I can point to and say "They did a great job!", as well as someone who is willing to email with me and talk me off a ledge or two. :)

I want someone who is going to be supportive of Idol in the future.

I think all 4 of the remaining contestants are people who will be that.

(Heck, I think any of the Top 20 would have been good picks. But the voters have been making some tough decisions over the last few weeks, that I'll be honest - I'm glad I didn't have to make those calls!)

Nope. People have complaints.

Because people.

Usually the complaints are about each other, or one "group" of people who don't care for another "group".

I like all the "groups", as people, and as writers.

This season has been really long, and emotions are high, so things are bound to get a little tense at times.

I'm sure it's all stuff that will blow over.

Well, I was hoping to Home Game this week, but a 24-hour turnaround on a story? Not without it meaning something!

Heck, those quick-fire stories might have been my doom. I spent energy on them and didn't win immunity once, so while you can't help hedging your bets by trying... I think they did me more harm than good!

I'm trying not to think about cake. There are cupcakes in the snack cube at work, but they're vanilla, so I can overlook them. OTOH, I put my lunch in a different fridge at least every other day to try to avoid the allure of the snack cube. Damn my weakness!

I hadn't thought of it that way-- I'd always assumed the deadline was the same! I.e., the rewards/results may be different, but the pain is universal. :D

Nope. I've seen plenty of home gamers in the past not post until the poll has gone up! People are less likely to read if you post after the poll closes, but there's still no official deadline for getting something in. :)

we had chocolate cupcakes with mintish frosting (well, it was green, anyway) at work. i had one and then later i had half of another one. they were good.
