Yesterday, I hit 30k words written for 2015.
I got a free movie rental from Redbox!
My office is clean for the first time in ever and it is making me so happy.
I have a scented candle and a cupcake.
The guy who rang me up at Starbucks yesterday gave me a free cake pop!
I'm getting my hair done tomorrow?

They're basically lollipops made out of cake batter. Om nom nom. And I wonder why I'm fat. Anyway, this one was free, as in the dude just gave it to me and didn't charge me for it. xD

They are delicious, and are a little larger than your average donut hole. You can even buy kits at Michael's and Hobby Lobby to make them yourself!

A clean office is my goal today! I got it there last week and it was the first time in months, but it got destroyed again in a matter of days. Sounds like you've been having much luck, hope it continues!

Thank you!! Good luck with the office. I work from home, but before I had the work at home job, this room was our guest/junk room. So it's actually never been fully clean in the three years I've had it as an office. It is finally the way I want it.

I finally wrestled my inner demon and went to the docs yesterday to manage my out-of-control asthma and now...I am beginning to feel a clarity behind my rib-bones that I had forgotten the feeling of....I actually slept last night free of dreams of impending doom....

I get to go away this weekend! We're going with some friends to a cabin by Wisp Resort in Maryland. This means I get to learn to snowboard, which also means that I very well might die. I won't be able to pop in this weekend much so I hope it's a good one for everyone! Going to try to get all the entries read today before I leave.

I got our Very Long Driveway of Doom shoveled with the help of my BFF Minikin, who spent the night at our place. I was off work yesterday because of the snow, so at least I was productive, though today I am sore! In other good news, it is Friday; it should warm up enough this weekend to melt the snow; and I have plenty of books to read on my Kindle app. Woot!

I just finished reading Hild: A Novel by Nicola Griffith (560 pages, historical fiction, takes place in Britain in the mid-600's) - very intriguing. I have just started reading a YA novel, Dragon Spear (3rd in a trilogy) by Jessica Day George. A fun, light story.

Positive things, positive things...

I am transferring to a new store starting Monday? My new GM seems pretty nice, even if she didn't have a schedule for me, yet.

Other than that, I am praying my child's second round of the stomach flu doesn't kill him. It's depressing, seeing a child usually so full of life and energy just lay about all day. Today was better than yesterday -- he ate food this morning and has so far kept it in. Same with his juice (and milk -- because he was throwing epic fits NOT having it).

I just hope he comes home from this weekend at my ex's house feeling better. He's in pain and I don't like it. =/

Me, too. This is literally like the 4th or 5t -- no, wait, it's definitely the 6th week he's been sick enough to stay home from school at least one day a week. Not that he had school today thanks to the snow we got yesterday (a god send; he was given two days to get better). But still. He's been sick in some way, shape or form, since the second-to-last week of January.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure he's teething his 6 year molars which just doesn't help matters at all.

GET BETTER, CHILD. AND STAY THAT WAY.

He's at E's right now, so I have basically been doing what I can for myself. I start at the new store Monday night at 11p, which um. Nick works Monday night.

My first night there and I'll be on negative hours of sleep. xD Yay! I'm going to get my ass handed to me, lol.
