therealljidolThere was a clear winner this season.
Sure, there were a couple other people who *could* have won - and perhaps the two folks abstaining could have made a difference. But you know what? I don't think they would have. Because I factored this out a couple different ways, just to see what would have happened, and each time, it came up with the same winner.
Some were closer than other methods.
But it was always the same person who came out on top.
That says something. That tells me that with all of the differences between folks left in the competition - there is one person who was toward the top half of almost every single ballot. Heck, there were some people who weren't eligible to vote who sent in ballots - so I checked those too! Guess what? Same result.
People love her - and think that she is someone who embodies what is great about this season, and have named her the person who is going to carry the banner forward.
The prize is an icon - and a selection of powers to choose from. I've emailed those to her. I will let you know what she decides.
But until then, all that is left is to match an user name to this and end the suspense:
Then again, it may not actually be that big of a surprise!
