There is only 1 more day to get a LJ IDOL shirt! http://teespring.com/LJIdol
(the alternate one will be available for a couple more days after that, but despite people asking for them, no one has actually ordered one, so I think everyone who wanted a shirt got the original)
So if you *are* interested, now would be the time to get one!
If you're not - keep on scrolling!

We are coming to the end of 2014. It was an *extremely* "mixed" year for me - and the lows were pretty damn low.
I hope that 2015 proves to be better.
How about you? As you assemble your "Best of 2014" lists - what stands out for you?

Date: 2014-12-29 03:46 pm (UTC)Right now there are people installing our new oil burner. They're banging everything around and it feels like the house is shaking :shudder:
OTOH we'll have BOTH heat and hot water tonight!

Date: 2014-12-29 03:51 pm (UTC)OTOH I'm trying not to think about Potential Wrist Surgery in a couple of months. That could easily derail 2015 if I'm not careful.

Date: 2014-12-29 05:19 pm (UTC)I think the best moment of 2014 for me, personally, was getting my first professional fiction sale. That, and just a continual realization that I have some really awesome friends who are there for me, even when they're not in close proximity. It's neat.
I've been super grateful for the break (oh good FROG I would never have been able to keep up with Idol and all the other stuff going on) but I am also very much looking forward to things starting up again later this week. This little pause and quiet was nice, but I miss y'all.

Date: 2014-12-29 07:36 pm (UTC)The scary bit is being a little disappointed that I didn't do more.
Maybe next year?

Date: 2014-12-29 09:44 pm (UTC)Also, I noticed you failed to post a GR on my birthday (12/23) Gary! Harrumph!
Best: Finally making my 100 Weeks goal (although failing 130); Being able to travel with my hubby; getting our newest cat Inky Underfoot a few months ago; having my A1c test at a decent 7.5 (prior range over the last year being in the 7.7 - 8.1 range). W00t.

Date: 2014-12-30 05:46 am (UTC)I refuse to assemble my "Best of 2014 List" until 2014 is actually behind me -- it seems like "tempting Fate". All I will say is that like with you, the lows were pretty damned low... but there were some good points, too.
Re: ...?!
Date: 2014-12-30 02:45 pm (UTC)White lettering on colored shirts. (rather than the black lettering)
There's also a couple other styles of shirts in there that people asked for (and the colors they asked about having)
