Are you ready for tomorrow??

For those who don't celebrate Christmas - are you STILL ready for tomorrow? (whatever happens to be going on for you tomorrow!)

Hope everyone has been having a nice Hanukkah, Yule, Festivus, Las Posadas, Kwanzaa, Pancha Ganapati, Dongzhi and anything else that I might be forgetting.

All of these of course are completely made up "holidays" that should not distract us from the ONE TRUE ONE: Celebrating the birth of the Greatest Man Ever Born, someone who has given, and continues to give, new life and hope to the world: Santa Claus.

Well, my family all lives elsewhere and I have no significant other, so getting the holiday off wasn't a big deal for me. I get to see my kids on the 26th though so it's all good.

Greetings from Houston, TX. We drove here yesterday (from San Antonio) to celebrate my birthday and today we are visiting the Johnson Space Center. We have replaced the stolen Christmas presents and other than wrapping them we are ready for tomorrow!

I've been busy cooking and wrapping! I already brought Christmas to theun4givables and my son and grandson. It was the first time in years (5- I think) that we've been able to get together so close to the holiday. It's hard when you're in different states.

Now am cooking and getting things ready to go to MIL's, she's 85 and very frail, so I bring everything to her, except plates and cutlery. Am making pizzelles now. :)

Ro- I still haven't gotten to the post office! :o

Everyone if I don't make it back, have a very happy holiday! Good yule! Soltice greetings! And may the coming year bring everyone peace, joy, and prosperity!

PS... It made me laugh sir, you using me for the green room notes today! Believe me, this mouse has been stirring her pa-tootie off!

I've got the house to myself tonight, so I'm baking cheesy bread, watching the Muppet Christmas Carol, and crocheting stuff. Life is nice. Tomorrow, there will be hamageddon. The hampocalypse. Hamapalooza. Ham: the reckoning. I'm going to be cooking a lot, yo.
