Oh that's right. The morse code.

See, I'd already forgotten... LOL

...--...-----.....---

Ok, so that's bad morse code that probably doesn't even exist or probably says something foul. HAHA But anyway...

Me? tempt? Never.

I just find it annoying that now I have to rate my journal. PG-13.. or PG-31.

When was the last time anyone read an erotic story written by me in my journal?

Well, I wasn't going to say anything... but I find your journal very adult and erotic. You and your dirty stories...

I would definitely rate your journal PG-55.

HEHEHE

J/P

Who says you have to rate your journal that? That's the most insane thing I've ever heard. You write about work and being a dad... what the heck?

One of the new 'features' of the 'adult content' flag system..

http://www.livejournal.com/manage/settings/

There's a drop down that you 'self identify'

Options are:

"No adult content"
"Adult content"
"Explicit Adult Content"

as a global setting.

I've already run into entries in which I have to verify that I'm over 14.

There's some new filtering system that will autocut an entry if it's got certain language.

Whatever... lame.

Everyone... move to vox! HAHAHA

next year it will be Vox-Idol. ROFL

(Sorry, like their interface better. I actually generally post from there just because of that. For some reason, it soothes my eyes more... LOL I don't have any actual vox contacts... crazy eh?)

I have to admit, I like the Vox interface better.

But.. do I get to flag things as 'adult content'? I mean, that's such a feature.. how can I ever leave LJ now *rolls eyes*

I know... I should go check. I mean if they don't have it, they need to get it!!! It's the best feature ever!!!

*NOT*

Vox is so nice. It is hard to believe how closely related LJ and Vox are... I think they have turned LJ into the redheaded step child of the company.

It is a theory at any rate.

Well, I think what happened was 6 Apart bought livejournal because they wanted some of LJ's code for Vox. Like Vox was 6A's competition for LJ.. and 6A was like.. hey.. why don't we just buy LJ. That would be faster to implement than us writing our OWN code.

I mean if nothing else, Vox has a nice User Interface.

I'm pretty sure that LJ was already happening with six apart... I was an LJ user for a long tme before vox. I remember seeing the whole "we're developing vox" thing... I dunno.

And they seem to be slowing bringing over the interface and turning LiveJournal into Vox. That kind of irks me actually.

I don't know, I wonder why they don't just get with it and merge the two. I mean good grief, if they are going to do it piece by piece, why not just go for the gusto?

There's good things about both. Since I really don't have ANY vox friends... I don't know what Vox has, other than the really nice user interface. It's more appealing to the eye. I do like that i can easily import my flickr pictures and have my book list and stuff.

The things I like about LJ is the good way that you can stay updated on blog threads, the friends page, comment notification. Myspace for example sucks donkey feet in that area. Major donkey feet.

I should go make some vox friends (because I need yet another social network place to hang on good grief) and test out that stuff... LOL

Yes, I like all of those things about Vox too. I hate that they're turning LJ into Vox. It seemed like Vox was going to be the blogging software for non-bloggers. Even someone who's computer illiterate can use Vox. But now they're trying to do the same thing with LJ. I miss old LJ. *sniffle*

Mmmm... to me any of these sites are for the non-savvy. I mean if you are really that savvy you'd just set up your own domain. I used to do that. But last year I had some issues... namely that I didn't realize my domains were expiring. And I've been trying for the last YEAR to get them renewed. I tell you what, NOT happy with my registrar.

Frustrated? Yeah.
