I got it in! I love when I have a chance to work on my entries from home instead of at work- I'm able to put a lot more thought into it and get out much more complicated ideas. I answer phones at work, and it's like trying to paint in a room full of mosquitoes- constant irritating interruptions. I did something a little more daring this week- kind of an experiment.

I can't wait to check out everyone's entries! I've seen some already, and from what I've seen, this is turning out to be a quality week!

Mornin'.

I'm just trying to get ready to go to work. I'm also trying to expertly and painlessly remove snot from my system without breaking a rib, making my throat hurt, or making me feel like I don't want to go to work more than usual. Too bad I don't have cheese curds, they could become the new wonder antibiotic. I'm doing my usual, voting late, and praying often that I'll stay :). I'll be doing some vote counting though yes.

I am once again a bad, bad girl because I stayed up all night reading the news stuff that I haven't had time for. I blame LJ Idol, and the fact that I'm hopelessly devoted to the ponies (as evidenced by my Current Events post).

Same here- I stayed up WAY TOO LATE last night on a night when I desperately needed sleep. I woke up at one point to let the cat out, and I was so tired I wasn't sure I'd be able to walk to the door. I know it's a cliche', but THANK GOD it's Friday.

Plans for the weekend:
Tonight go to a friends house to see on wedding invitations, we are hoping to get it to look like a Magic Card. This should be interesting.
Tomorrow get up way to early to attend a child birth class with a friend of mine who is doing it all alone
The rest of the weekend? Homework, cleaning, and pray we do not get the snow storm they keep talking we may possibly get.

Oh wait and forgot I need to work on my holiday cards and also work on MarsCon stuff. There are only 4 party rooms booked so far. I need to drum up some more parties otherwise the 13th floor is going to be rather dull. Anyone want to throw a party at a Con in March in Minnesota?? It will be wonderful:)

Thank all the gods that it's Friday -- I don't think I could take much more of this week!

Got my entry in yesterday, and so today I can finally settle in and start reading the other entries, which I'm very very much looking forward to.

My weekend is filled with basketball (my daughter has a scrimmage on Saturday and her first game on Sunday) and laundry. Isn't my life exciting?

And instead of working on it or my NaNo yesterday, I read news articles. Interestingly enough, I found this:

So, mostly, I'm trying to recover from the trip.

But, this morning, I am completing my entry for Idol. After that... I just don't know! Tomorrow night is our city parade, so we are preparing for that. (Son number # is in it with his cub scout pack.) My husband is singing on Sunday night at a special devotional for Christmas, so he's preparing for that.

Good morning everyone!
Holy hell, it's early. Shortest night ever. I got a car and drove out to THE MALL last night, bought too much stuff, then came home and decorated my Christmas tree and went to bed at 12:30. I'm happy—but I also woke up an hour early to come into work… So I'm running on about 5.5 hours here.

Mornin' all! It's my birthday weekend, so in addition to working Saturday morning, I'll probably have dinner with my family and hope the snow that's predicted for my area happens Saturday night and not Sunday! Because Sunday, my birthday (I'm going to be the big 30!), I'm going into Chicago with my mom and we're going to brunch and then going to see "Phantom of the Opera"! I'm excited, I love the movie but have never seen it on stage.

But it's still Friday and it's going to be busy at work. So I'm just going to get through the day!

Absolutely wonderful over here. I met my NaNo goal of 50K and still have plenty of story I want to write. Tomorrow is a formal party at my boss' home so I get to play dress up. And because of tomorrow I get to go shopping tonight. :D

OK, I feel better. :)

Tomorrow I have my spinning instructor orientation course - all day - and I am VERY excited. This is the first step towards a hopeful career change into fitness/wellness/weight management consulting and becoming a personal trainer.

Other than that, I have a paper to write, laundry to do, and an apartment to clean. Might go out with my other half tomorrow night after he gets off work, but we'll see!
