That's very awesome. If more people got their kids interested in politics and informing themselves, as your dad did, this country would be in much better shape.
I agree and one of the reasons why I decided to do the career change from the legal field to teaching. If it pans out and I can get atleast one kid interested in government I feel like I would have done my job and also feel some sort of accomplishment as well.

The reason I post so much about politics is that I figure if I throw it out there, people can read it... or not. I don't want/need everybody to agree with me about everything... if they at least think about it. That's my main objective... to get people to think. But I figure that by putting it out there, I'm at least trying to get people to think about things and form their own conclusions. Y'know?
That's good to get people to think, I need to start thinking of it like that. For me I would always worry about coming off wrong and start some sort of drama. I debate/talk better in person so writing is about it is a bit tricky for me.
