You're often writing poetry disguised as prose, and I'm sure I've mentioned how I love that element. It's not that easy to negotiate and make it palatable but you seem to do it with ease!

I would ask you, is there a standard routine you have when approaching a prompt/topic? Do you always follow a ritual or does it vary? What helps you stay in control of the direction you take the topic and what inspires your approach to how you write?
