Results - Week 26/Last Chance Week 5

Holy grap!

Week after week I say "that was a wild poll" and it seems like the voters take that as a dare to top it the following time!

I think that says a great deal about the quality of the work that people seem so divided as to what they enjoy the most.

Unfortunately, it's the nature of the beast that we have to say goodbye to some people. Given that we will also be welcoming others into the fold, as Last Chance Idol folds up, I figure that we should save that good news for the end, for finish on a high note.

All of the people leaving us have been a huge part of this season and will very much be missed. I really hope though that we will continue to see them around for the Home Game, and to just hang out in the Green Rooms, cheering on their favorites!

Those leaving from the Redemption Tribe are: copyright1983 (who sacrificed) and *BY ONE VOTE* dmousey (look for that name later, since she was also part of LCI)

From the main tribe, we are losing favoritebean labelleizzy and uncawes. Again, we are talking a 1 vote difference for 1 of those positions and only 3 for the others.

We are also saying goodbye to some people over at Last Chance Idol. I had forgotten that I had been nice, and so that I thought I would be giving a bit of a different announcement here. But once I checked, I realized that I had been generous and only eliminated 2.

Ah, but what a pair they are! Seriously, it would have been nice to see them progress. Unfortunately, eliminating people is what we do to get to the finale.

We are losing aimercat and i_love_freddie.

Now for the flip side of that Last Chance Idol poll - the good news. I was nice and allowed 3 of the 5 to move up. So, joining the main competition as of this week are: dmousey (I told you her name was coming up again -she breaks even), emo_snal and swirlsofblue

Yay! It was a challenging five weeks but I must say I enjoyed it. :) I wrote some pieces I'm proud of too! Always a plus.

I'm sorry if anyone feels I may have bumped someone else out of a spot, however. I did not mean too.

I have enjoyed so much, playing in this sandbox. All the positive comments and encouragement on my entries for therealljidol have given me the cojones to attempt NaNoWriMo for the first time this year!

Thanks so much to everyone here, I have enjoyed reading everyone and have loved the writing assignments. If I can I will try to Home Game. At the least I know that "hair shirt" wants to be a fanfic plot-bunny in the same universe that one of the other LJ Idol writing prompts kicked me into. I've gotten such wonderful inspiration here.
