Vote - Last Chance Idol, Week 5

A few words from clauderainsrm:

It’s the final hurrah for Last Chance Idol. The hill to get back into the competition has been a high one to climb, and every week the incline has increased a little bit.

Unfortunately, there were three contestants who slid back down in the process, defeated by the forces of “Real Life”. Which means they are leaving us right on the edge of their shot at moving back up.

They are: furzicle, fourth_horseman and itsjustc

It’s only three names, but it’s a lot of talent that we are losing. I hope that we will be seeing them in the Home Game!

Because of that though, I’ve decided to be more generous than I was planning on being.

Of the remaining five contestants - the three with the highest amount of votes will go through to the main competition, and the bottom two will be eliminated!

I gave the contestants in Last Chance an “Open Topic”, which means what they came up with was entirely in their own hands and that they should have brought their A-game, knowing what the stakes were. Hopefully they did! :)

Who did the best? That is up to you, the voters, to decide!

Out of the 51 of the 64 who signed up

that had actually showed up to compete by the 2nd week

(which might account for a few more,

considering some entered simply by making that 2nd topic deadline),

— 20 have gone into the main competition,

. . . (of whom 3 from there have already been eliminated);

— 18 dropped,

— 8 were eliminated,

. . . and

— 5 still yet remain.

Real life...that's where they went. Hell, I'm lucky i didn't sucumb to the real life drop. last week's post was done between auditions. This week's was written in an airport. I think another week was written while waiting at a job open call.

So... how does that work with dmousey, because she's already in Redemption Tribe? Because if she gets eliminated here, she's still already in over there...

If she loses (ie: is in the elimination spot) both places, she's out.
If she wins here, she goes from Redemption into the main tribe?
If she loses here but doesn't win or lose there, she stays in Redemption?

It's late, I'm tired... does that sound about right?

I'm sad to be leaving but Ive been really ill since last Wednesday so I haven't had a clear head for writing! I did hang on yesterday for as long as could before resigning just in case I could manage anything.

It's unfortunate that I wasn't able to take my last chace at LCI but it has been great fun and I'll join in the home game. Thanks to everyone whos voted for me over the weeks - I've been really encouraged. x

Darn- losing some friends, and a writer I barely had a chance to get to know.

I've read a little LCI here and there, but this is the first week I'll be able to read all the entries and vote. I wish I'd had more time to do that in earlier weeks, but the voting times for both groups overlap, and there was just too much to read. :(
