So how are you doing back to your normal schedules?

Heck, how are you doing knowing that tomorrow at this time we will be losing 3 more people??? OR that tomorrow at this time you will know THE NEW TOPIC!!!???!!!

Exciting week for me, because I've had this one on tap for quite some time and am loving watching it play itself out. But hey, that's me!!

Only 24 hours to vote? EEEEK! I hope I stay in the race!

Today my goal is 5k words for NaNoWriMo. I'm 8k behind. 5k would help tremendously. I'm 1k down. Woot! But it's not coming very fast. Boo! I parked the kids on The History Channel for school and locked myself in my bedroom.

The house can wait.

I'm blaming my leg for part of my downtime. Because NaNo's not all to blame!

My unsolicited advice? Word war. Seriously, just set a timer and write frantically for ten to fifteen minutes. Don't worry about quality. Break. Lather, rinse, repeat. I wrote most of my novel this way and broke 50k on day 15.

I commented earlier that I was looking forward to seeing what twist you'd toss at us during voting. Wasn't expecting this one! Although in retrospect, I should've. I really need to work on my mind-reading skills, hm??

I have to wonder... is my schedule EVER normal? This week Boo starts into new Big Boy tae kwon do classes. Work continues on as it ever does (feast or famine, with a headache on top of it -- I'm getting rather sick of the headaches).

I'm more wondering how much time we're gonna have for the next one. Are you just going to take 24 hours off the time we'd normally have to write it, and make the deadline the same as usual?

Besides that, the weekend was good. I went to Prague and was the only one in the group of 10 who didn't blow my train money on booze. Ah, schaddenfreude.

Critter woke up with a concentrate-destroying cough, and has been holed up on the couch since he made his appointment to see the doctor.

I started in on laundry and found work towels still in the washer. D'oh!

I got the family room decent, then finally allowed myself to recognize the amount of damage that we've done to the kitchen since it was all post-feast-clean. I made some inroads, but I keep sitting down to recover. ;)~

I have errands: kroger, petstore, post office, sam's, school; and I have lists, so I'm hoping for efficiency. I've leaving the house 30 minutes later than I'd preferred.

I'm *gasp* caught up on reading entries, so I'm appreciating the shorter term of suspense while we wait out the voting.

I'm relieved, to be honest, but not exactly over this. I was stressing out over a French paper due tomorrow that I have yet to start. One of my friends in the class commented on my last entry and pointed out that it was due Thursday instead. Whew. That's the kind of surprise I like to hear.

My computer died. I tried to do a system recovery and instead got a system failure... I am now without a computer, it's totally kaput... not even a tech could fix it, trust me.

Hopefully I'll get a new one soon, but my schedule this week will also be hectic starting a new job tommrowow. Silver lining to the crap.

As for the edited entries, well. If they notified in the topic room that it was redone, I got the email (since I put a track on the topic post) and just added it to my queue. That worked a lot better than the last time around when I tried to keep track of it.
