A few words from [livejournal.com profile] clauderainsrm:

One of the $580 million dollar Powerball winners will be donating a million dollars to random voters in this week’s poll! But only if they read all of the entries and comment! So make sure to share this status with all of your friends, and encourage them to support their favorites!!

(Note: This might not be any more true than it was in 2012, but who knows when that Powerball jackpot was actually won. But I just saw the urban legend resurface on Facebook - so there is a chance that maybe a Powerball winner *will* decide to give you a million just for supporting Idol!! You never know!)

Or perhaps you will win an I-Watch!

If you do, I don’t know anything about how that would happen! But, *maybe you will*!!

That’s all I’m saying!

So you should definitely support your favorites this week!

Unfortunately, Real Life has engaged in absolute shittery to [livejournal.com profile] bookishgeek, and she will be saying goodbye this week. Hopefully we will see her again in Second Chance!

As for the rest of you - two people will be leaving us in Redemption Tribe and four from the main tribe. It IS an intersection week, but vote totals will NOT be added together this time around. You write as a team, but you are going to rise and fall as individual entries.

I was particularly impressed by what I read this week - and hopefully other people have been reading as they went as well, because the poll is closing Thursday, Sept 11th at 9pm EDT. See terms and conditions of the "Pressure Plate Deal".

Good luck to everyone!

You're too sweet. Thank you. I have had some really dramatic IRL issues and had to bow out. I hope to come back for SCI!

Just to clarify - the two with the fewest votes in Redemption and the four with the fewest votes in the larger tribe are the ones who will be eliminated. Right?

I don't assume anymore. It's your fault, Mr. Propbst Did I say you were parnters?

This is so straightforward, especially after various speculation throughout the week. So now I'm nervous, because Gary.

Also, the numbers:
redemption has 9 live entries
main has 69 live entries and 1 bye
for a grand total of 79.

Wow! I am so far behind (my entry took a long time to write) that I'm not sure I've hit 20 entries yet. I'll be flailing all the way to the voting deadline. :O

I'll do my best to read, but my twins turn five in TWO DAYS and I am madly busy with party and school preparation!

It is! Stressful for everyone, though - I can see that they are a bit nervous about school, and their behaviour is suffering for it.

This is them on their school visit day. My girl twin went absolutely hysterical as she doesn't do well with crowds or unfamiliar situations :(

And this is a picture my boy twin drew today. I am still laughing.

Awww... my son got moved to the "big kids' class" at fake-school (he's 3 and a half) this fall and he's supposed to be potty train(ed? ing?) now. You can tell it stresses him out, too. A stressed out three year old should be approached with caution, like an escaped wildcat or something.

Does their party have a theme? A dual theme?

Edited:
OMG, the pictures! Your son seems like a fun kid. I love the way he is side-eyeing his sister. And the drawing, hahahaha.

It's a red and yellow theme - we're having the party at Playcentre, which is a parent-run ECE co-operative. I'm making playdough and gloop, and there'll be the sandpit etc as well.

Technically they get two parties - one on Friday for their final day "graduation", and one on Sunday for friends and family!

Finn is my mischief child. But we're coming to an understanding - he needs more hugs than you'd think.

That's how my son is, too.

What's gloop... is it like slime?

Gloop is cornflour and just enough water to do the non-Newtonian fluid thing. It's fascinating and freaky.

The recipe we use for slime is Lux (soap flakes) dissolved in hot water and left overnight. So much fun. I made a waterslide with it in the summer and got SO messy.

I think he started to draw it, and then remembered that he'd seen a cow EATING and POOPING AT THE SAME TIME DID YOU SEE IT MUMMY and changed it.

I'm actually really impressed that he worked out that the face would be upside down if it had a human style neck and it was bent like that.

It could be a cow OR a backhoe, but either way, it is clearly a poop machine... :D

Your twins are absolutely the cutest things! So your girlie's the introverted twin? If so, then she's got the perfect protector/friend in her brother. :)
