Can I go back to bed? I swear someone put quarters in my cats and they would not stop meowing most of the night. Normally they only do that when there is no food or water but they had both.

Anyways weekend?
It was school filled, homework filled, watched Mr.Brooks so I can finally return it to netflix and that's really it.

That's okay, ponies are expensive to keep! And I'm not sure it would get along with the white van that also lives in my garage.

Although it would certainly keep my lawn well trimmed.

My weekend was good and far lazier than it ought to have been. For some reason I'm beginning my work day by daydreaming about going home and playing with my sewing machine (something I will have no energy for by the time I get home, more's the pity).

My weekend was pretty laid back. Finally jumped on the Guitar Hero bandwagon and got the newest one. Played on Saturday until I got to the end of easy mode (41 of 42 songs currently), can has fingertip feeling back now plz? :)

Yesterday I helped someone move TVs around, and otherwise did nothing of value and it felt good :D

This weekend was fun - Sinterklaas made his way from Spain to the Netherlands on Saturday, and has been leaving goodies in the kids' shoes every night. The kids have been on their best behavior, which always makes life more bearable!

What an amazing weekend I had.

Photowalk in Brooklyn with a group of 8. We braved the brisk, but clear weather and took many photos. None of mine are up. I'll greenroom again when they are, but here's the group with other folks, it'll be like you were ALMOST there, but without the amazing conversations:

I did it! I had my vision corrected by scary lasers. The world is still a bit blurry, but I managed to blow up the fonts on everyone's posts and make it through MOST entries.

I kind of gave up if the first or second paragraph didn't get me. I never realized how bright the computer is. I read the entries with sunglasses on!

Mostly spent it depressed over my car situation. :( Cars are too expensive.

I want the pony. Then I can ride the pony everywhere I need to go instead of driving. :)

I am placing my request now. I want the pony. Specifically I need this one, as it is in accordance with my high cool factor. :) If I had this pony, I might stop eating bonbons in my waterbed. I might get out there in the world to have something real to blog about. I know you all like my blogging in my sexy negligee while eating bonbons, but I think I might be even hotter riding on the back of this pony!

I'm afraid my weekend wasn't very exciting, although it was reasonably productive: I got together everything I'll need for baking Thanksgiving pies. I also worked on the deck roof all weekend, taking the old roof off and prepping the support framework. I'll have to have a beam replaced, though; that job (a 16 foot long 12x1 beam) is too big for me :-P

How was my weekend? Oh, it was fantastic. My 16 year old sister is in juvy or the children's home, and I spent most of last night in the hospital with my mom. Fun times.

I had planned to get some work done around the house, so that when we come back from Wisconsin, we aren't coming home to a mess, but I didn't really get much done.

Hopefully this week is much better than this weekend (especially since I'm off all week).

I just want to thank everyone who has commented on my first three entries. I struggled with entering LJ Idol- not because I am a shy person, but because I am a shy WRITER. The idea of putting my information out for people to read, and judge, makes my stomach drop a little.

I love to write though. And I desperately want to write for people other than myself. As such, this has been an amazing opportunity. I am even considering exposing my fiction to a wider audience than just four patient readers.

All of you who commented on my entries are responsible for that boost to my confidence. You strangers, who thought that I said something worth reading and talking about, have given me a great gift. Thank you so very much.
