Green Room - Week 15 - Day 14
Jul. 31st, 2014 10:11 amHere we are, at the end of "The Week that would not end", staring down over the cliff of the Top 100, when Idol becomes a slalom on triple black diamond EX course. Or at least gets closer to that point.
We still have until tonight though to decide who it is that will be joining us in that Promised Land: http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/763043.html
Based on what you've seen, who isn't getting the love that you feel their entry this week warrants?
Who are the "sleepers" of the competition? The gems that just haven't broken through the permafrost quite yet, but deserve the chance to grow into a gem tree?

Date: 2014-07-31 03:30 pm (UTC)I believe there is HUGE potential for injury in singling out names and entries and I hesitate to do it. However, looking over the polls, there is a writer who seems as though they could use a shout-out. Although I feel ridiculous in even assuming that someone may be in need of me shaking pom-poms, and who knows if my doing so may be wildly insulting, but
is one of the finest writers I have ever read outside of published work. She possesses a scary dangerous intelligence, a subtle and brilliant imagination, and prose skills that are oftentimes breath-taking. She is consistently crafting new work each prompt. Her writing requires something from the reader and then delivers in bucket loads.
As the sage, Dita Von Teese, reminds us – “You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there's still going to be somebody who hates peaches.”
