I think about it a lot—it and the fair trade issue...labor rights are near and dear to me, though, and I'm a chemist working in sustainable materials, so I don'ttthink I'm a representative sample size. :x

I think about it a lot, too, and I don't even drink coffee! So many things come individually wrapped now.

I do know that the Nespresso outlets in Australia encourage you to return the used pods to them for recycling, so that's something I guess. I imagine the uptake of this offer is pretty poor though, unfortunately...

Oy. I doubt many people take them up on it, yeah. :(

A lot of the plastic used for the K-Cups isn't even recyclable in most communities. That's part of what makes me cringe.

I have a little reusable basket thing for them, but it works about as well as you'd imagine, i.e. not at all. :/
