Well my husband is a member of the WGA and is on his way into New York City to walk in a circle around Viacom for four hours so I am at home with the kid.

I hope to finish a swap doll and send it onto its owner and get caught up on my NaNoWriMo. If I don't get some done today, I'm throwing in the towel for this year.

I have a feeling I won't use any of my byes. There's always a way to re-interpret or get around things.

Today's fun for me will consist of:

Make 1 round of dough

Slice provolone cheese

Put away an order that will actually be UNDER 1 metric ton for once, hooray!

Try not to fall asleep early due to waking up early (due to falling asleep early last night)

Maybe actually do laundry

Layout the timeline scale for my chart

Maybe code up the music that's been waiting for so long (yeah. right)

Go to work
Catch up on work and spend some time in here, such a delicate balance
Give my departments monthly orientation to all new hires and attorneys
My class was cancelled for tonight, so then that gives me time to run a couple of errands, do mega amounts of homework, break from homework to watch my Thursday shows.
Go to sleep and repeat some of this tomorrow.

I'm hoping to not have to use any byes, but on weeks that a lot of people use byes, it might be prudent to go ahead and use one. If there are 25 people in, and 10 use byes, that raises the chance of being voted out that week just by changing the number of people that are being voted for. =/

It's day 3 of a migraine so my reading of entries is going slooooooowly (not being able to see straight makes reading hard *sighs*). But I've already seen some amazingly brilliant stuff.

I'm holding onto my byes until I'm desperate and have to use them. And I'm hoping not to need them, but it's so very lovely to have the safety net, just in case.

I'm tired, I need to make some early holiday gifts, I have to take my car to get some work done before heading to NJ next week, and I have vowed to write my topic on terror. Still not sure what to do. Nothing really terrifies me. Except maybe nuclear bombs since I live in Washington, DC. Hmmm.... I just don't think about that sort of thing since... well I'd probably be dead pretty quick... *shrug* OK, only really thought about it because of a podcast I listened to last night talking about a book about kids that survived a nuclear strike.

I posted the thing that really terrified me last week. I'm seeing another delve back into my childhood. HAHAHA

Good luck with the writing tonight! Nuclear warfare stresses me too, but it is sort of a vague anxiety as opposed to an immediate terror.
