[identity profile] clauderainsrm.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] therealljidol
Today we say goodbye to [livejournal.com profile] taybar19 who lost in a very competitive three way race! Again, kind of surprised by that, but someone had to be voted out, and I would have been surprised with any of the three to tell the truth. You will be missed in the competition. Hopefully you will stay involved in the community.

Yes, I know that I'm late posting a Green Room today. I've received your emails.*g* However I made a promise to the people in this community when it was set it for Season 2 that I would try to keep my posts to the minimum, so I figured that I would post this AFTER the vote.

For those of you left standing, CONGRATULATIONS TO THE TOP 150!!!

Remember to post your entries at http://community.livejournal.com/therealljidol/76142.html and read those who have already done so!!!

I've noticed that too.

It's amazing to see so many people bravely put their fears out here to be read- and ultimately judged. I know it was hard for me. I sifted through mine carefully, trying to choose one that both really terrified me and that I could articulate at all.

So many of my fears are just little blights on my soul without words to define them.

Yeah, for me it was important for me to choose something where I could talk about the why. Phobias I feel like are just random brain flaws an things that can be dealt with with hypnosis or therapy or whatever. I wanted to get to the stuff that makes me feel sick in my soul both in ration and irrational ways.

That describes exactly what I was looking for- the intangible stuff at the core of me. My entry is something that is a part of me rather than something that goes on the peripheral of my life.

I am still trying to decide if my terror is rational or irrational.

I don't know if it could be both.

I think it can be. An irrational fear can have a rational basis- look at the Skinner experiments that left children terrified of Santa's beard.
