I can’t believe that “How I Met Your Mother” ended that way. I just didn’t see it coming that the final shot of the series was going to be the reveal that Ted was on his death bed, hallucinating that he had children. The entire series was *that*? It turned out that not only did he never have kids and he never met “The Mother” but that his friends were delusions as well!!!???

I’ve got to say though, it was a really dark twist, but I think they pulled it off.*


(*Note: I’ve been putting together the poll. I haven’t watched the finale yet :D)

Speaking of pulling of a dark twist - as I noted before the Week 2 poll had closed, that there was going to be a tribal shuffle! There are now 5 tribes, and a Redemption Tribe for those in a tie last week. Which means that this week there will be 6 going home! (the bottom vote-getters from each tribe)

That should make things a little more interesting!

The poll closes Thursday, April 3rd at 10pm EDt, so make sure to get out there, read the entries, comment and, of course, vote for your favorites to keep them in the competition!

I get 102 byes out of 260 currently playing. And a fair number of those are people who haven't done any entries yet, so they may have signed up and wandered off. My guess is there will be more than 20 bye-outs next week, and another 10 or so the week after.

Based on my numbers, it's pretty equal. I expect figuring that out might be why the poll took a while to go up. Just speculating, though.

I am glad I didn't have to take a bye this week, as my spring cleaning is pretty much complete so was able to do an entry and I was able to spring up a good entry--I hope! I only took a bye last week due to be very busy, so am glad I'll be back... I'm not normally one to take bye's.

Quite a lot of Byes !!!! And I would give an arm to be Tribe 3 or 4 where the Number of contestants are higher and byes lesser .... Hmmm Tribe 5 ( where I am placed this week ) has lesser participants and more byes ... Phew !!!The odds are heavy this week for the 26 participating ....

Well the good thing is I should be able to read all the entries comfortably .... rather than rush through as I did in the previous week ....

I suspect when the dust clears after this week our numbers are going to dramatically drop. It happens every single season. The difference, though, is that I think this is the first season I know of where more people are in danger of buying out so soon.

To say what I've said elsewhere - if my numbers are correct, we should take a big hit in Weeks 4-6. By Week 10, the bleeding should have stopped. (not entirely, still someone now and then, but definitely not in any significant numbers)
