Happy Valentine's Day!

There are some people who get upset about today, but not me.

I love it!

I'm a romantic *and* I love a good massacre! What's not to love about the day??

My only regret is that the Season hasn't already started so that I could celebrate it by eliminating a bunch of you.

Oh well, I'll have to make up for that later!

In the meantime, spend today with the people you love - and by "the people you love", I mean here. :)

Ignore those people in your "real life", they don't *really* love you. Not like Idol loves you!

(and by "love", I mean "wants to kill you". Which is a type of love, the most special kind)

Aww, we love you want to kill you too, Gary! You will always hold a special place in our collective heart! And by "special", I mean REALLY "special".

My hubby sent me a dozen roses and a small box of chocolates to work yesterday. Tonight we are going out to The Olive Garden for some Italian deliciousness. Also, I baked a batch of strawberry cupcakes with chocolate frosting for my co-workers to enjoy. Yum!

My husband is helping out with the floral section of the grocery store he works at, and thrilling over the shocked looks he gets when people ask him if he's doing anything special for me for Valentine's Day and he responds, "Nothing."

We are both too lazy to celebrate holidays.

*hugs* Thank you. It's a long story but basically I'm autistic and need a certain amount of support, and today my psychiatrist (who I don't get on with at all) threatened to cut off my support services. I'm not sure they are legally allowed to do that, but it is making me so anxious that I am being sick right now.

I am fed up of dealing with these people who think they are better than me.

Ah, I can certainly understand your anxiety about something like that. It sounds to me like you should see about getting a new psychiatrist if at all possible, one that you can hopefully get along with better.

The hubby texted me earlier about feeling like a shlub because we weren't doing anything romantic for Valentine's Day and he saw people getting all sorts of gifts at work. I reminded him that I do not like cut flowers, so they would be a waste of money... but if he wanted to stop at Donut Plant on the way home, I would probably enjoy that ;)

So we MAY be getting some delicious doughnuts here tonight. Meanwhile, my little sister and brother are here and my kids are being snuggly, and I've retired my work for the day to watch some olympic coverage. I can't complain for a second.

I don't bother with Valentines day - tho I am sure there are people in rl who want to kill me.
I just don't see much point even if there is a better selection of chocolate available right now.
I did rewatch Day of the Dead (1985) with my spawn.
Amber felt it was not so good as the special effects sucked and there wasn't enough action.
Kristal atlest got the story arch and understood when Bub found Dr Logan dead and was pleased with Bub shooting the commander (and saluting his demise) .
She liked the movie.

I always feel somewhat guilty that I actually like Valentine's Day. I buy or make dorky cards for my friends and pretend we're all still in third grade and passing out cards and cheap candy to the class.

Besides, this is all just pre-gaming for the REAL holidays: Half-Price Chocolate Day (or Steak and a Blowjob Day if you ask the spousebeast) and our wedding anniversary on the 16th.
