There's more going on backstage at Idol than at a Dustin Hennessey support group meeting!!

Of course, there isn't really any action at that meeting, so by definition, we have more! Just because it's an unfair example doesn't mean it's not an example! :)

Amanda Palmer will be swinging by later to talk about, well, it really doesn't matter what she will talk about, it's going to upset someone! So make sure to pack a lunch!

I'm sure something will happen today that will make both of those old news. Or "older than they already are" news! The internet will be fuming and clickbait will flow from the fingertips and out into the world, to be consumed!

With so many people stuck somewhere in a snowbank, that is just going give people more time to rage! Which means, more entertainment for the rest of us!

I'm glad you're posting a countdown to March 3rd, because 1)it reminds people to sign up, and 2)it's reminding me of a very important upcoming date without me having to count for myself. ;)

I'm enraged to be back in the hospital, though. Five times in 11 weeks is excessive. This is why we can't have nice thingsI can't commit to much of anything anymore, not until this cancer-crap is straightened out. So BLAH.

Otherwise, just happy to be alive - close, close call this time - and happy to say hi to everyone. So, on my end, less rage, more gratitude, I suppose.

So far the excitement level seems pretty contained. Hopefully that will ramp up once we get closer. I'm having my usual "I'm throwing a party and no one will show up!" nerves! :)

Do they at least give you a punch card? If you are going to be there that often, they need to have some sort of Rewards program to thank you for your repeat business!

It will be awesome. As always. Look at how many people always show up regardless of a more conservative discussion right now! Tons of people want in on the final season. I wouldn't worry, but I know you will. :)

At least they see I'm in good spirits, so if we get the numbers in order, I should be home Friday. Scary stuff, but stuff I can manage from home once this initial crap passes.

I'm not enraged, just sort of lonely and sad. My friend (former competitor minikin) slipped on our stairs last week. She had sat midway down the stairs to put her shoes on, which apparently still had some water on them after she'd come in from the snow a little earlier, and when she went to stand up, her foot slipped and got caught behind her when she fell, and she sprained her ankle and had an avulsion fracture to her tibia.

She went to Urgent Treatment the next day (we'd hoped it had only been a bad sprain at the time), but the ortho doctor today says she will need to have it operated on this Friday, and will have to wear one of those stout surgical boots for 3 months! This saddens me. :(

She had an MRI today and the doc said that she needs surgery, to put a pin in her ankle to stabilize the bones (from what I understand). The surgery is on Tuesday, she will have a cast for a month and then das Boot for another two probably. Whee.

Nothing. I just finished my work day. My Wednesday students are always a handful, but nothing to rage about. I've got this. I survived "Suck" Dynasty today for Spirit Week. LOL

No work tonight. I get to go home and eat pizza and be a writer. AW
