I would have voted for controlld_chaos. I think she did a great job at being creative but not overly philosophical; the 'snapshot' approach was good because it gave me a chance to see how she writes about herself. There were so many great entries though - I need to sit down and go through and make some more comments and attempt to figure out how in the world I'm going to keep track of all of these people!

Wow...thank you for the very nice compliment of remembering mine in particular! I was a little worried about the approach I took, but to be honest, it was the first thing I thought of and it felt nice and easy and light when I wrote it, so I just went with it :)

Like there's this comic webiste ZUDA, by DC and you have to vote for 1 out of 10, but at least 5 entries are really good. It's not fair. Or like Oscars and SAG Awards...

At least with LJ IDOL I can vote for more than one. I just want people to always vote for me. Unles of course I suck... and I know I made shitty entries last year and will again this year. It's inevitable...not everything can be good. Even if people think it's good.

I've actually read them all. But it is mostly mush in my head now. But I know I've seen some sass, unique views, inviting writing styles, and quirks that show lots of promise. But, as they say, this is a marathon, not a sprint. Plenty of time for most to build their game.

who will i vote for? hmm good question. it will depend upon the posts as they come. Ive read many interesting intros, and I myself have already gain a few new friends. I will most likely vote for those that im friends with, and like someone else said there are people I want to read more of(so they'll get my vote too)

I am almost finished reading all the intros (I have just the ones that were posted after midnight last night left).

My drive to NYC was uneventful until we got to the Lincoln Tunnel. It took us over and hour to get from the NJ border to the other side of the tunnel.

Even with a crazy-hectic Halloween week, I made it in on time so, barring unforseen circumstances - pet explosion, zombie infestation - I think I will manage to get entries in before deadline!

I was on page five of the intros though and, while all the A-listers in Hollywood may hit it fashionably late, I'm not that cool. I want to arrive earlier next time, before all the good hors d'oeuvres have been eaten!

My current faves are tulip_in_yellow, a fabulous mom/entomologist/cool chick and flisleshnitz, also mom/cool chick.
