I have found this wonderful youtube channel with lectures from actual writing classes are gathered.

The current lecture piece I'm watching is Gardener's verses Architects (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glPLTNuhfxA). Basically, seat-of-their-pantsers vs outliners. ;) It's pretty great.

I should be writing. But spending an hour going through these videos isn't going to hurt, right?

Planning the birthday party for my sweetie, trying to write, doing laundry, trying to write, tidying up around the house since we'll be having company, trying to write, getting distracted by shiny things online, trying to write...

You may notice a theme here. I'm thinking that if this continues, I'm going to turn off wifi on my laptop and just sit my butt in the chair and do what needs to be done for as long as I can. The so-called real world will still be there to distract and inveigle, but removing the internet from my grasp will probably increase my productivity by a lot.

Also, crickets are lucky. I encourage their collection. We could all use a little luck. ;)

I spent the afternoon looking at border collie rescues instead of doing anything productive. This was not productive at all as the last rescue we had bit my son in the eye and we decided to stay a one dog family until the kids are a little older or we lose Raphie to age. He is 7, so no where in the near future. My first dog was a blue merle border collie we got in England. That was 25 years ago. I was thinking of him today.

I had two cases today and then had to go grocery shopping. I just got home but got myself a treat. ;) I got the new Animal Crossing game and I'm sure this will keep me occupied for the rest of the night.
