To the people living at this URL/address:

I also live in this internet and have a problem!!!! You have a bunch of “writers” who are clearly out of their minds and you consciously decided that it would be a good idea to be in a close proximity with the rest of the world like this???? You selfishly allow your writers outside everyday and let them be a nothing but a nuisance and problem to everyone else with that noise polluting whaling (aka their “entries”) they constantly makes!!!! Those things are DREADFUL!!!!!!!!!!! It scares the hell out of normal people!!!!!!! When you feel your idiot “writers” need to express themselves, take them to our park you dope!!!! We have a nature trail!!! Let them run around those places and make noise instead of whatever it is that they do!!!!! Pictures of babies, porn and even cat macros are normal on the internet!!!!! They are NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are a hindrance to everyone and will always be that way!!!! Who the hell is going to care for them when they realize their hopes and dreams are fruitless?????? No one will hire them, no normal person is ever going to truly love them and you aren’t going to live forever!! Personally, they should take whatever can be salvaged out of their entries and post them as Youtube comments. What the hell else good are they to anyone!!! You have them so called “writers”, deal with them… properly!!!! What right do you have to do this to hard working people!!!!!!! I HATE people like you who believe, just because you are in a writing competition, you are entitled to special treatment!!! GOD!!!!!!

Do everyone online huge a favor and MOVE!!!! VAMOSE!!! SCRAM!!!! Move away and get out of this internet!!! Go live in a trailer in the woods or something, somewhere without WIFI!!! Nobody wants you here and they don’t have the guts to tell you!!!!!

Do the right thing and move or euthanize them!!! Either way, we are ALL better off!!!

Sincerely,

One pissed off LJer!!!!!

*The number, but not the frequency, of exclamation and question marks used in the letter has been approximated in this post.

Why hello GR! My work schedule has gone all topsy-turvy again, so much so that there are times that I have to stop and remember what day of the week it is!

Next week, however, is vacation :D

I had no idea what this was parodying (though I do now - ugh (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/19/karla-begley-autistic-letter-teen_n_3780378.html?utm_hp_ref=mostpopular)), but the excessive use of exclamation points amused me anyway.

Today I am going for an insurance physical exam (ugh), getting groceries, running other errands, and (most importantly) brainstorming what to write, because I am shameless in my continued existence as a writer on the internet.

Also, I'm happy that no normal person will ever truly love me. Normal is SO overrated. ;)

But I am very much NOT normal, so, you know. ;)

My 1st reaction was going to be 'WTF, Gary....you like to mess w people but jeez....' Then I read xo_kizzy_xo's link. Now I can safely wonder and say, "Who's the real (insert R-word here)? What an idiot neighbor she is!!!!!!!!! She needs to vamoose. AW

That letter...I just can't even...

Every time my son is out in public, I worry that's what people are thinking about him. He's not autistic, but has many, many other issues that make him appear "not normal" and I often wonder if he will ever be able to hold a job or what will happen to him as he becomes an adult and how cruel the world will be to him.

I almost feel bad for the author, as it's obvious they've never had love and acceptance in their life for their own shortcomings.

Compassion seems a commodity in short supply in our society sometimes.

Hugs. I too, was taken aback by the letter.

I agree about compassion being in short supply. It truly saddens me.

I am honestly insulted by this parody. My daughter is autistic, you think making fun of a letter that wants to kill off autistic kids is funny? I find this to be horribly disrespectful to those of us who have kids with autism, its not to be mocked or made fun of. I am shocked that I would even have to point out how horrible this is. Apparently you left your compassion button off today.

It makes fun of the writer of the letter. It's meant to point out how incredibly stupid the opinion is.

There's a lot on the internet to get outraged by. It'd be a shame to waste the effort getting outraged by someone who's on your side.

I read about that letter last night and it nearly had me in tears. I have Autism and I think about all the times I've had a meltdown in public. People have looked at me like I'm a fucking crazy person.

I can't help but wonder if they think like that person who wrote that letter.

If they do, it's about them having issues and not about you.

I mean, I get it. I'm "morbidly obese" (and also people sometimes look at me like I'm a fucking crazy person). and I completely get it.

But, all you can do is go on with your life and hold your head high and believe in yourself - or stay in your house all day and never leave it or talk to anyone but delivery people (and I can tell you, I don't recommend the latter, because it's no goddamned fun).

So I'm going to admit that I didn't get the joke until someone linked the original article.

But seriously, THIS raises my hackles even more. Dr Phil's team all but enables rape culture. (http://www.salon.com/2013/08/20/the_vile_rape_tweet_dr_phil_deleted/)

I'm sure Dr. Phil didn't ask the question directly. But seriously, when is it okay to ask such stupid questions?

This is why I never read my comments on my Yahoo! articles any more. They're sort of like this, except with more misspellings.

I swear: one reason I continue to compete in LJ Idol is because I need so desperately to see intelligent commentary on the things I write.
