I think everyone had really good entries this week, so picking a favorite is pretty hard. I do think, though, that agirlnamedluna and recklessblues are being criminally overlooked thus far -- the imagery and sustained tones and moods conveyed through their work is fantastic.

My favorites are rec'd in my journal: porn_this_way for awesome Poe-etry, kathrynrose for Switching it up with fiction, and lrig_rorrim for making a myth more magical and oddly more believable as well. And of course, my own (which could use more love) because really, how often does one find a decent support group for the polycephalic-challenged, and how awesome is the acronym HEADS UP for such a group? (FYI, the answer to that is "pretty damn awesome," just so you know!)

A funny thought that passed by on my Facebook feed that I thought I'd share: "Would an Amish murderer get the acoustic chair?"

I don't think I can pick a favorite. Each one is a gem in its own way.

Topic switch...Anyone here familiar with juicers? Not just blenders but actual juicer machines? Anyone have a specific product to recommend or stay away from? Anyone have awesome juice recipes? I've been on this kick to get one ever since last March. Now that the home improvements are done, and I have storage, I'm ready to research buying.

This poll is a roller coaster! Not that I'm watching it or anything. :P

I was really, really fond of what recklessblues' piece this week, and I'm surprised it's not getting more votes.

From what I've seen, it's going to be close, and that part is unsurprising--the quality of this week's entries is top-notch across the board.

So we just have to wait and see no? I've encouraged my flist to read all the entries and vote for what they like best, but only Gary knows who's voting, so... I've done my part! :)

My favorite this week was porn_this_way's entry. She's so clever in her writing to put the double entendres for the Poe works, and then to package it up inside a poem that's true to rhyme and meter. Super well done. She deserves to be topping the poll.

Lol, at the DeathMole reference. I'll be quite curious to hear the album. Of course, it would be cooler if the QC characters were real, and playing in the band. I really like Hannelore.

For the record, I don't think planning an Egyptian vacation is such a great idea at the moment. I hope things improve over there, STAT. Following the news has been heartbreaking.

Love wise, there are a lot of really good entries this week. I like m1ss1ngcupcake's entry a lot.
