This has been a really weird week for me. Not even sure I can describe it. Not "bad" per se, or even all that "good". Just really weird.

In the morning she told me I had woken her up to ask if she'd found the box with blood in it. I still don't know if she was yanking my chain or not. But Hubby says I talk in my sleep, so maybe. ;)

Our daughter, OTOH, would get herself wedged into a corner and not be able to figure out how to get out... right up to age 11. Since my grandmother never learned to drive because she could not get the hang of going in reverse, I used to seriously worry about where our daughter might be headed. o_O

Anyway. I've been working on my entry in Notepad and my computer crashes. Like I don't know why it did. It just turned itself off. I could blame it on a cat, because honestly, Opie has skill with keyboard commands, but I honestly didn't notice him on the keyboard. (I was preparing to eat my big salad for lunch.)
Here's the thing about Notepad - no automatic backups.
Yes, folks, that's right.
I am re-creating the wheel now. I'll be the one over in the corner crying and talking to myself.

Date: 2013-08-15 07:04 pm (UTC)It indeed has been a weird 7 days....actually 10 days for me, starting from when my cat died on the 5th to witnessing a car accident, ( minor, but still...we knew who one of the parties involved was), Hubby getting jury duty and how Cougar Kitty is STILL crying periodically for her missing pal. At least our weather has finally improved.

I am just a few blocks from an AFB, and I often wonder if that affects me at all.
