I was going to post earlier today, but I wanted a chance to catch up with most of the entries first.

Wow, there is some talent out there. This season is going to be tough!

Not to mention HUGE!! Has all of LJ signed up for this season yet?*g* Or are the rest waiting until Friday.

I thought of something else: why write about yourself? No one ever said that everything you write here has to be nonfiction or biographical. It could be about the cows in California or life on another planet. It doesn't have to be about the person writing it.

Hah, yes! I don't mind public posts that much.. it's the few people who are typically not friended back yet still insist on reading my journal or the few who are filtered out of certain posts that make me nervous!

I have a spreadsheet with

1. all the players signed up so far
2. links to their intros
3. whether I have read their intros
4. whether I liked their intros enough to add them as friends
5. if it was locked with respect to comments (otherwise, I left one)

and soon

6. their current number of "friends"

I plan to keep track of lots of stats this game.

I been reading only those on my friend's list so far, because I was trying to catch up on other things after spending this past weekend away from the house. I'm hoping to get my plate somewhat clean before NaNo starts. I'm also hoping to read many more of the entries from others. :)

it is hard when you're use to writing friends only posts, which I am. it is a weird yet freeing experience to hit that submit button and not have the little lock in the corner of your post.

I say, don't change anything, be yourself, and don't worry about what people will think or who will read it.

It really is a mixed bag, and it's so cool. I love how some people are straightfoward "Hi how ya doin" and others come up with something from way out in left field. I'm really impressed with a lot of things people have to say, and WOW there are some fascinating people in this community!

I'm doing NaNo too. This is going to be very challenging for me, as I'm used to doing a whole lot of nothing.

Yeah, I'm used to spending my evenings on the phone and in City of Heroes. I did NaNo last year though, so this year I know a bit of what to expect with that.
