Results - Week 5

I’m sitting in my apartment for what might just be the last eliminations ever to take place here. Almost all of my belongings are already gone, and I’m dealing those piles of random objects that you end up with, but are never quite sure where they should go.

Which really has nothing much to do with making this announcement, other than I’m saying goodbye to a bunch of old friends of Idol. I’m hoping that they will pack themselves into the Home Game box and come along with us on our next series of adventures.

Hey, I at least made an attempt to tie those two things together - give me a little credit huh? ;)

Seriously though, the four leaving us are all veterans, one of them I’d dare to say was having probably one of her best runs in her history with Idol, something that made me quite pleased to see. The others, well, we don’t usually see them gone this early, even with as strange of a mini-season as this has been, it’s still a bit of a shocker.

Please join me in a fond goodbye to our friends, and fallen comrades, mac_arthur_park, emo_snal, ashgaelsonaria and kandigurl

Thank you for coming out for this mini-season, and I hope we continue to see you around to see how this plays out!

For the record, and for whatever it's worth - you were the one I was talking about who had the best run IMHO of your Idol career. You seemed to be coming into your own in a lot of ways, and especially those weeks with the Intersections you seemed to really shine.

I had a feeling this would be my week. It's probably for the best since I'm at a hooping retreat and would have a tough time getting something up by Monday anyway. :) So if I look at it that way, it's just freeing me up to enjoy my weekend without stress!
