Of course, that applies to every contestant who submitted a topic for Exhibit B, those who signed up, those folks cheering from the sidelines and random people walking by while you are reading this!

So really, should it be all that much of a surprise?

It IS interesting though – that of the 4 topics, *3* of them were submitted by CONTESTANTS STILL IN THE GAME.

Or maybe that is just interesting *to me*.

What *isn’t* interesting to me – but I’ll ask anyway, so what are your plans for this weekend?

Oy. What a morning.

Been up more or less since 5:30, when darling toddler Idol decided it was wakey time.

Then we went to story time at the library at 10, where she decided to be a terror. She was trying to pull all of the books off the shelves. She would stomp her feet and scream when I didn't allow her to do so. She tried to pull a book out of the librarian's hands while she was reading to the other children. And during the music time, she went around and pulled instruments away from the other kids (all but one of whom are older than her) and threw them on the floor.

Now I'm finally sitting down with a cup of coffee.

Oh, right, did I mention that all of this happened before I had a chance to have coffee? Yeah...

I think my weekend plans are "cling to last remaining shreds of sanity as tightly as possible."

My parents are taking the spawn camping. My health prevents me from going so I shall be home alone.
Cleaning that is in need of doing.
Bedding in need of washing. Mainly quilt. Lots of dirty quilts.

My plans for the weekend include kitties (of which one appears to suddenly not be litter trained anymore despite being assured she was ... ) and cats and hopefully stop all of them peeing everywhere. Oh and pony class for lil one and two birthday parties to attend.

As for plans, today I'm going hiking, tomorrow morning I'm volunteering at the weekly work-party aboard the brig Pilgrim, and Sunday I'm helping someone with beekeeping, sometihng they strangely insist on paying me for. Sometimes the boundaries between what I do for work and fun are strangely blurred (:

Just wrote a draft up for the tacky topic, but I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with it. It's a funny anecdote, but I'm not sure how well it works as a full story. Might try and revisit my moonshiner girls from a couple weeks ago instead. So that's one part of my weekend. The other part is making more mead with the SO and taking my Dad to the city for a Sunday brunch date! Today's mostly boring; I've got housework up to my ears. Of course I"m in a writing mood!

I really need to make a list of the entry ideas I have in my head. Over the years I've been doing this, I've developed a stable of ideas waiting for the perfect prompt for them, but since they're not written down they're a bit difficult to sort through, and sometimes only after the deadline I realize "oh wait, this would have been perfect for that one thing!!" ...but these topics I think may necessitate looking at them all on a paper, while seriously stroking my chin and audibly saying "hmmmmmm. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm"

I'm working tonight, doing house stuff tomorrow and working Sunday. Then vacation for my birthday! (Of course I'm garage sale-ing , and doing a whole lot of nothing on the actual day, but, no work!)

Though I have one now. But only because I made a connection to one topic to one of my favorite TV moments, which made me think of other ways to connect to it....

I have a feeling I'm either picking the most popular of the four or the least. Every time before this I've picked the least popular.

Work was okay today and now I'm home and struggling to figure out what to eat.
