I'm considering adding in a controversial element to my piece this week but I don't want to scare my readers off. (The element would be self harm, or allusions to it.) Of course I would trigger warn for it. And I feel like the story warrants it. But pulling that trigger is just weird and hard. Any advice?

My advice: if the piece is calling for those allusions, put them in, and handle them with care and sensitivity. I'm not particular about trigger warnings (very little triggers me), but just a word with your link should be fine -- though many might just ignore that, anyway. :)

I'm currently completely revising what I wrote. Which is to say, I had an almost finished story, and now I'm doing something else entirely. Way to go, considering it's now 22.40.

Somehow I magically was able to watch the entire season of Game of Thrones, and now it's over and I'm sad.

Also, totally disappointed in something that was so cool in the books that they left out entirely.

Also, I should have been writing my entry, which I haven't finished, and kind of makes me want to reach for sharp things. I shouldn't write dark things when I'm already in a dark mood, or I shouldn't write dark things so I can keep from being in a dark mood.

My knee hurts. I was discussing my cat with my co-worker this morning in her office, made too large a gesture, lost my balance and fell onto my knee. I blame the Lisinopril that I started taking last night for the first time. It's a tiny dose, only 2.5 mg, but one of the potential side-effects is dizziness. I don't feel dizzy or light-headed, but apparently it affected my ability to recover my balance. Ugh.

*Rubs sore knee*

I got back from my first case and was so glad to leave. My client's son is usually home now (laid off) and he often watches his girlfriend's four year old.

I have no patience with children and was so happy to leave, haha. Other than that my day is going good. ;)

Oh boy. I got a small lesson in html today. Turns out that all of the posting clients for LJ have some seriously strange commands that don't work for layout.
