Vote - Week 3 & SCI Topic 2

It’s time for another batch of polls! Yay!!! Or maybe that wasn’t today’s good news. I seem to recall there was something else, but this seems pretty darn good at the moment.

Or perhaps that’s just the sound of hearts breaking due to those who missed this week’s deadline. There are some well known and loved folks on this list. Which makes me wonder if someone is has blackmail pictures of their competitors and is taking them out a few at a time!

Leaving us this week - before the poll goes up are: _rabidwombat_ , dreamwriteremmy , florencestoker, notodette and witchdollie.

There was even one person who let me know that, because of this “Real Life” thing, that he wouldn’t be able to continue on - impoetry

Goodbye to all of you. You will most definitely be missed.

On top of that, we also had a someone miss the deadline, who will be filling one of those spots in Second Chance Idol automatically. That would be streetnights. Hopefully we will see you back on form next week!

As for the rest of you, things are once again divided into three polls.

The first is the “Sudden Death” tribe, comprised of those who were saved by being in a tie in a recent week. Given that they need a little extra push, in either direction, giving them the spotlight of the first poll that you see seems appropriate.

The second poll is the main competition.

And the third are those playing for their lives in this competition - Second Chance Idol. Once you are eliminated from that, it’s over.

The Sudden Death tribe will be losing two contestants this week.
The main competition will lose nine
and Second Chance will lose two more.

The polls close Thursday, June 6th at 9pm EDT

Is that bear anime? I was on a holiday icon thing at one point, and that was one of the more adorable Halloween ones, and I always try for adorable icons. :) I thought it was from a game, but I could be wrong.

I have a Tweety one now, too. Kind of odd, as I don't recall having used them in years.

No, the bear's not anime, that I know of, but I thought I remember talking to you about anime once. :)

One of my favorite Otakon vendors is called Kawaii gifts. I find the cutest weird stuff there, like a panda in a sheep's outfit, and refrigerator magnets for me sister that were panda sushi! (And this was long before my own Kung Fu Panda was born.)

Oh, quite probably, lol. I watched it a lot in college, and while I don't have a working TV now, friends will sometimes tell me about current stuff. :)

Aw, that sounds adorable! There's a craft shop on LJ called watermelon3 that does really cute stuff, and she has a whole bunch of adorable food, though I don't think any of it is animals. I love reading her posts, though. :)

It was not much of a secret that I was florencestoker.

It's been a long time since I tried to write in a fictional character's "voice". [There's so little known about the historical Florence Balcombe that many liberties can be taken.]

I tried to wrap my narrative around the topic of "mistakes" this week, since a dramatic shift in DRACULA pivots on a poorly-thought out decision to leave Mina out of certain discussions... something everyone comes to regret later.

Alas, time ran out on me.

I may not be done with florencestoker as a writing exercise, but for this round I'm out of the contest.
