- Deadline looms, poll looks awfully tight: Coming into the last day of voting for Week 1, the poll numbers are “too close to call” on who will be leaving, with a good ¾ of the field in danger. Interested parties are urged to speak out in favor of the entries they love and get other people to read, comment and vote for their favorites!
- In a related story, newbies coming to the polls need a little extra love. So, make sure that you take the time to check out someone new!

I know I do my best to read everyone; if time is tight I'll at least read someone every-other-week. But when folks were signing up, I went through and gave a Welcome (or welcome back) to everyone, which I think is a nice gesture and generally appreciated.
