In honor of ANZAC Day, I will be landing all of you off at the wrong location and let you fight it out for several months before deciding to pull back. Then I will have Mel Gibson be in a movie about you.

Speaking of long, fruitless mistakes where you take heavy losses – today is the deadline for not only the new entries: http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/645813.html but also for you to send me your votes! http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/644678.html A bit of a lead has opened up, but it’s still close enough that a couple votes could make the difference in who wins the “advantage” and momentum going into this finale!

This time next week, Exhibit A will be a thing of the past! Maybe one day someone will declare a holiday to honor it!

I have to make a million posts to a million communities today. Including [livejournal.com profile] smallfandombang, which requires more time than I thought it would. Oops.

It'd all go a lot faster, too, if a certain 3.5 year old would leave my lap. Silly kid.

Children and cats have a sense for the lest.convent moments for lap occupancy and invariably chose those times to invade.

Come to think of it I used to hang out with a guy who always seemed to call when I was bathing.

I've got an appointment this afternoon. I need to do a little shopping because the fridge is nearly bare. Other than that, I've got nothing.

We're such a lively group, aren't we?
:p

I just returned. I was a good girl -- relatively, that is. I mean, what am I supposed to do when what I want is on the other side of the store?

I will fight you from the treetops with my Mysterious Crossbow of Death (+5)! *pew*pew*pew*

Just came back from a walk around the lake with my co-worker. It's a lovely day out today, mid 60's I think and sunny.

Well I am in the process or repurpusing some of those stackable shelf units as hanging shelves.
And watching _Red Dwarf_ on netflix. I am also waiting for season 7 of Dr Who and the next season of Primeval.
I really wish my cable included bbcamerica.

Last night, Richard Belzer was on Coast to Coast AM. I'm a big fan of Law and Order: SVU, and Munch is my favourite character, mainly due to the fact that he's the crazy conspiracy guy and he plays it so well (probably because that's how he is in real life). Have you ever noticed his desk? Every season, there's a different framed picture of JFK. That cracks me up every. Damn. Time.

Not to mention that he and Ice-T really work well together. I often wonder how much of their lines are scripted, and how much of it is just them interacting with one another. Judging from their exchanges on Twitter, I'm leaning toward the latter. That just makes it a million times funnier.

Anyway, Richard Belzer was pretty awesome on Coast to Coast. Even if you don't agree with conspiracy stuff, this guy is obviously enthusiastic (but not in a ram-it-down-your-throat-with-CAPS-LOCK Alex Jones type of way) and knowledgeable, so his zeal was kind of infectious. He's articulate and funny. Overall, really enjoyable.

Unfortunately, George Noory said "NOT ON MY WATCH!" and proceeded to interrupt poor Richard Belzer every twenty seconds to tell dumbass stories that had nothing to do with anything. It was so bad that I had to stop listening -- and that sucked because I was really enjoying it otherwise.

Whenever Open Lines happened, Richard Belzer was the one taking and directing calls, and George Noory was just as useless as ever. It was just sad. I mean, it's like George Noory is trying to fuck up Coast to Coast as much as humanly possible. Maybe it's a conspiracy.

Anyway, yeah, that's what I did on my summer vacation.

I popped into that CAH site to see if anyone here was on a few times yesterday and didn't see anybody.

I did jump into a public game and played for the first time though.

Funny as hell. Good times.

Aw. What time did you go? We started sometime after seven and went until ten or eleven -- I can't remember.

We should really make this a nightly thing so that anybody who wants to play can just pop in.

We had a room going from a little after 6 pm central til after 8 central. Not a lot of people, but enough to have fun with it.

I only know because I looked at the clock when you told me you opened it, because I thought, "Is it that late already?" and then when I was about to crash and burn, I checked to see what time it was (8 thirtysomething) because I wondered how late it would be when I finally crashed. :)

Yeah, you guys had already closed the room by the time we returned from walking Ember. I figured that would happen.

That is all.

This. Voting was HARD - fantastic writers writing fantastic things. Also possibly because of travel and germs and jetlag and things, but hey, I am home, I read stuff, and I voted. It's hard to believe things are nearly over. I hope I'll be able to make CAH tonight!

Last night we Spring-cleaned my kitchen! I pulled out the fridge and swept behind, swept behind the stove without moving it (I know, but I can't, it's heavy; and I poked the broom under it and all, so I really did try to get it properly) -- it's amazing how much dust collects behind appliances. Also I found loose change under the fridge, but I think that's a law of physics or something.

Anyway. It's not up to like, my mom's or my aunt's standards, but I'm pretty happy with it. :)
