Gary, clearly I missed the hell out of something. But I have 17,727 words on mine as of last night. That's okay, isn't it?

I already replaced a real name I was using. I had been calling a character "Erica Millner," which is sort of horrible in that the character is a terrible person, and Erica Millner is a master jeweler at Mio Studios in my town. But! Now she's got the forename of my husband's co-worker, and the surname of some random person commented to by someone on my Facebook feed. So no jewelers are being insulted by proxy in any novellas, at least on my street.

Yep, that's more than fine. I'm just "encouraging" people with their efforts. The numbers that I'm giving are roughly the minimum every three days to get them to the "official count" of 50,000 words - for those who want to get there.

I've set my affairs in order, updated my Last Will & Testament and written a tearful note to my family members, telling them all how much I really loved them. I am now ready to leave behind this "Vale of Tears" called existence.

So go ahead; eliminate me.

I appreciate the gesture, but I'm resigned to my fate. After all, I told my family how much I really care about them... so a quick, painless "elimination" is far better than what my relatives will do to me...

It's not an LJI token, it's an Immunity token like they use on Survivor. I don't think there's any expiration date on it...

But yeah, if you were brutally honest with your relatives, a quick and painless "elimination" is probably for the best... *wink*
