What I am going to be doing today: Taking advantage of the free tickets to go to a taping of the Daily Show with John Stewart. Herman Cain is the guest!

I know that it's probably only reaching a small percentage of the greater population, and different people are going to have different ideas. But I just want to hear them so that I can process options and decide what works best for what I want to do in the interim and going into next season! I don't usually do things this way but I think it's a big enough decision, that may impact a lot of other things, so I figured that I would throw it out there! So please take a moment to think about it, and get back to me!

I have read the two pieces! both are wonderful. I love how different they are.

Today, however, has been filled with minuti - international drivers license, what happens when my license here runs out, can I put my health insurance on hold, what else do I need to organise...

I actually was supposed to paint the set today, but not having to go anywhere? priceless!

How long are you going to be in Japan for? Do you absolutely have to have an international license? I've been living in Malaysia for nearly 4 years and never bothered with an international license, and just renewed my Australian one this year. Even got pulled over by the cops once and they didn't care.

If your health insurance is like ours, yes you can put it on hold, but you have to be out of the country for a certain amount of time, and when you come back I think you have to show evidence of when you left the country for a semi-permanent move, and then back again. Including boarding passes. I don't think we kept ours >.>

I'm getting ready to head off to bed in about 20 minutes or so, as soon as this episode of "Chopped" is off. And of course playing on FaceCrack, LOL.

I need more sleep. Hopefully I won't have to fight the cat for my pillow like I did last night, LOL. It felt like I was wearing a fur hat part of last night. She's a sweet kitty, though, when she's not stealing mah pillow! =)

It's still Tuesday here, so I'm going to go to bed here in a bit... That's the rest of my day. Though I want to play online, I need to get moving. I should get to bed earlier.

Wednesday? Just work. But then Java is coming over and we have no Idol entries to write! So that means we can watch So You Think You Can Dance on TV instead of as YouTube clips this week! I know he will be excited about that. He cursed to himself last week when I told him we missed it....

I just put in an order for some t-shirts that are for the purposes of promoting my book. Hoping this time the colour comes out a bit better (and the artist doesn't kick me for changing it).

I've just been perusing the last GR so I did see your question, Gary, but I didn't really have any thoughts to offer. I'm not sure what the best thing to do is, or the complications involved.

Also, jealous of you getting to see The Daily Show live!

Fingers crossed I can get my novel finished and released before the next season of Idol starts? I don't want to be working on it at the same time! But I'm about 4K words into the final chapter, with maybe another 6K to go, so I think it should be doable. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to write more today.

I am currently watching the most fabulous TV show EVER. It's called
'I Will Survive' and is a reality show with twelve Aussie guys competing for... I'm not sure, it *was* meant to be a role in Priscilla on Broadway but then the show closed. So I don't know what they win, but they're all on a bus traveling to Alice Springs, performing in tiny little towns, quite often in drag and IT IS SO AWESOME!!! :D

I have, however, adding about four more potential topics onto the list. (which I have to fill, overfill, and then weed out into some sense of order, hopefully finding the idea for the season in the process!)

Doing... alright. Remaining motivated to write, to push myself, to try new things. Feeling good that I'm reaching out to my support network. Also trying to take more time to read the work of other people, whether on my friends list or not.

Went hiking yesterday with the baby. It was fun. We were sure we were going to be caught in a thundershower on top of the mountain, but it skirted by us and all was well.

Decided that I need to stop being scared to live.

It's very weird having two days off in a row because you're goingoingoing for 5 days straight, then suddenly you're metaphorically thrown from the cliff. By the time you recover, you're back to goingoinggoing.

Mentally I'm trying to untangle thoughts I have on so many different things. It's at the point where I can't untangle the forest for the trees, so I need to divert myself. Good thing today is errand-running day!

Another thing: I never want to give blood again without eating first. I thought I was going to faint driving home :eek:

Penultimate green room of the penultimate season! Excitement and adventure and really wild things!

I'm feeling really lazy today, which is not necessarily a good thing. We have company coming in this weekend, and it's my sweetie's birthday tomorrow, and there's just a ton of work to be done. Yargh. I hope I can get moving and get stuff accomplished soon.

I got my Hillbilly Remix assignment (Justified fanfic), so I'm hoping to find some inspiration to start on that before getting distracted by a million other things. I'll sure miss the community here, when Gary turns the lights out on this round.

I'm back after MONTHS of intense work on other stuff! I have my TEFL certification now (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), and I was accepted to a competitive year-long program in writing the nonfiction book. My husband worked long hours & weekends, so I also did the majority of the childcare. I finally got some sleep last week. While sleeping in bunk beds. In a hut in the White Mountains. Shows you how tired I was. The kids are terrific and my husband is finally slowing down. I'm thrilled to see that this community is still going strong!
