All of this talk about Chik-fil-a makes me want a chicken sandwich. Or some chicken nuggets. Or waffle fries. Which is totally not what the boycotters would want all of this talk to do, but damnit, I'm hungry.

Good thing I could make plenty of equally delicious food at home. :D

I know this feeling. I started on Entry #5 last night, but I had no idea what I was doing with it. I decided at 3-whatever in the morning, I just HAD to start SOMETHING because I was getting the fifth entry in, no matter what. It was a matter of pride for me, too.

I have some weird stuff I'm dealing with in RL, my wisdom tooth I had removed in April? I'm in pain all over again and this time, I don't have dental insurance and I'm not allowed to take time off. So I'm relying on the "hope and pray" method to healing and would appreciate good, healing thoughts sent my way so I can actually chew my dinner tonight...

My characters are REALLY having minds of their own this week. Maybe it's the compressed deadline that's turning off my brain and letting them decide what to do. How else do you explain my having serious romantic stuff happen in what was supposed to be an adventuresome story? Also, there are people arguing about proper behavior for government leaders. Aaaaand I'm writing fully SEVEN (if the story I'm doing now works out) entries in the same brand-new universe, with most of my other entries in a different, more established serial universe of mine. What is WITH me and serials?

That heat wave in the Midwest has finally reached my corner of the country. I went out to do an errand around 9AM and I thought I was going to melt :P

Then, of course, since I can't leave well enough alone and have this inner need to keep proving myself (don't ask), I mowed the front lawn, took Ember for a jaunt around the shady section of the park, then went to Not Current Employer for frozen mango fruit pops.

Now I'm in A/C bliss. I may not move for the rest of the day.

Since I'm faced with a huge amount of reading this weekend in my duties as LJI Juror, I am printing out the entries so that I can read them offline (easier on the eyes, and no need for wifi). Those that are image and/or voice posts I will still look at on site, but for the most part they will be on dead-tree matter. Therefore, do not presume if I don't get around to posting comments on all entries that I haven't read you; I plan on reading *everything*

I actually wanted to make a comment that lets people know that personally, I'm okay with not getting comments this week. I trust that people will either read or they won't, and if someone is rushed and stressed and just trying to leave comments so I know they read? No need to stress. I'm not holding it against anyone if they don't comment on everything. I'd imagine others might feel the same. It's nice to get feedback when someone can give it.... But no need to comment to just comment. There's a lot to read, I think we can understand :)
