Never had that issue, thou apparently I can no longer eat takeout pizza or frozen for that matter. But I am never such that the thought of getting food makes me tired. Going shopping on the other hand is an entirely difrint thing.

My weekend has been pretty ordinary, though I did get an inspirational pedicure yesterday. It was inspirational because that's when I started writing up this week's entry, which is still in beta-reading. I should find a less expensive way to get my muse in gear; I don't want her getting spoiled! :P

I also had a fun IM-based role-playing game with one of my friends who lives in California. That was cool; we did a crossover with two of our original characters. I hope I get a chance to continue it tonight.

We have been driving cross country since Thursday morning. Just reached AZ a short while ago a d will be in Tucson in about two more hours, where we will be staying until Wednesday morning. Thankfully, we have several Dresden Files books on tape. We have seen lots of Roadside America things, like a 30 foot tall pistachio and a scrap metal roadrunner. Fun!

Weekend has been good so far, but I slept pretty much all day today. I average about three hours a night over the work week, so weekends often entail quite a bit of crashing and burning. Was up until the wee hours BSing with a friend last night, which was entirely too much fun, but I had a slight headache this morning from the Mountain Dew margaritas I'd been knocking back. me = pwned. Haha oops.

Also! A few weeks back, I wrote a MAJORLY smart-ass letter, and it just royally paid off in several ways. I think I might have inspiration for my entry this week.

Slept through most of FREE COMICS DAY... and the sky is overcast where I am, so Free Supermoon looks like a washout for me.

At first I was going to say that the only special thing about this weekend was that I was able to catch up on my sleep after a *VERY* rough week... but then I decided to treat myself to dinner at the best Thai restaurant in NYC:

Snarky people who think that others having issues with something somehow negates the fact that they have issues.
Frack, freal and smeg it all.
The entire thing is crud.
I did not say that the person was full of it.
I did not say that society doesn't have that much of an issue with people who are heavy.
Bovine excrement. I do know how people treat the underweight and I know how much of a difference gaining 30 + lbs has made in the way I am treated.
People suck and sometimes I think the human speacies is little better then a bunch of hyenas squabbling over a bit of dessicated carrion. Why does it seem like the people with the nastiest commentary are usually the ones who should understand the most?

I did actually think that the moon looked particularly bright last night. I went out into the garden with the dog before bed and there were some of those big fluffy clouds on the horizon (for some reason, I should probably know what they're called, right? ;p ) and the moon reflected off them and wow, all the similes in the world were just going through my head. Awesome.

The highlight of my weekend was weeding sans children* and having the chooks come over to see what I was doing, and eating all the little creatures that were getting disturbed by my pulling up weeds. I love how tame my chooks are. I'm so glad we have them.


It's 9.45 here. I need to start the diswasher, hang out the washing and get ready for bed. Have a great Sunday, everyone!

My special brand of kryptonite, if I have the metaphor correct, was a message I got from my ex's sister screaming at me. Let it be known that you shouldn't like the relationship status change of their ex. Even if I'm not friends with the sister, but still with the ex. She dumped him 5 years ago. I've been out of her life for 2-3. I guess there's no statute of limitations for those things *shrugs*

And Java decided to prove to my roommate that we weren't dorky by putting on Finding Bigfoot which made us laugh as I pointed out just how dorky that makes us. You likely had to be there. But then we turned everything they said into something perverted. That was funny. Then to top that, my roommate actually joined us in the dorkiness so our fears were calmed and we hung out, which is nice since my other roommates (besides maybe my second one) never did that.

Hi GR - my weekend was absolutely fabulous! 3 shows and 3 standing ovations! Spent today recovering as my legs are very tired today. Hopefully I will be able to complete my entry tomorrow at work - fingers crossed!
