In terms of eliminations and the personal impact - this one is a doozy.

There is a sacrifice by a very supportive and talented newbie dblicher who needed to bow out for personal reasons. That's never a good thing, but hopefully it will be for her actual life. Or "life" as we call it around here, because everyone knows that Idol > everything else! ;)

We are also saying goodbye to a team - in this case, it was close, but ultimately we are saying goodbye to two veterans, and fan favorites, who were involved in Second Chance. One of them is a 100 Weeks member, and the other is someone who is beyond a doubt one of the biggest cult favorites in Idol.

Goodbye to marjory and theafaye and thank you to you both. I hope we will continue to see you in the Home Game!

Again, what is it with the soon thing?! Top 50 after already being voted out once AND I still have an alt in, so to be honest, going out is a bit of a relief - I could have got my husband to vote and drummed up some extra support and stayed in, but I've been pondering dropping for a while anyway because of my alt, so this worked out quite nicely for me - I'm just sad to see marjory leaving with me.

Crap. I was driving when I clicked this link and I couldn't believe it. I wasn't watching the poll since my interview ran late and I was running around like crazy, but I seriously didn't expect these two. Both vets with lots of respect from me. Both wrote awesome pieces all season.

And dblicher... I'm sad to see you go, I hope RL is going well for you. It's been a pleasure getting to read your stories this season. I hope to see you around.

Tell those killer clown dolls to stand down - I'm not home gaming because I still have an alt and it's been a struggle recently to find the time to get both entries done, especially with intersections. So now I can just focus on those entries, which will be a relief.

Please if you have asked to be a friend, stick around I haven't had a lot of time recently, RL nearly killed me off, a son with problems, a cat to be put to sleep, and all the usual crap of life in the fast lane of old age. But I will get around to seeing others and what they do this weekend...I hope.

I believe it. I always felt I was on borrowed time after SCI anyway and I didn't rally the troops to stay in - I still have an alt and it was starting to really wear on me, so seeing this being the likely outcome was a bit of a relief to be honest. I'd been debating dropping for a while anyway.

To be honest, I'm more than a little relieved to see the result, although I'm sad to see marjory's name up there with mine - I've always loved her work and always felt that she was underappreciated in Idol.

In case you didn't see in some of the comments above, I still have an alt in the game, an alt that's been in from the start and has been totally kicking my butt in the polls for quite some time. So I'm not surprised to be gone, especially since I was in from SCI, which I always feel is a disadvantage and rightly so.

So I won't be home gaming it, but I'll still be around Idol - even if I didn't have an alt, you try keeping me away!

Oooh and if anyone wanted to friend me but thought I was too scary or something daft like that, I love making new friends and welcome any Idolers onto my f-list :D
