The scariest thing about Tarzan is that he's pretty much my stepdad. Or like how my step-dad was 5 years ago before he really started losing his mind. I'm not kidding... The similarities are eerie. The words he uses, the sound of his voice, the way he gets irritated when people tell him he's done something stupid and how gr responds... That IS my step-dad. I'm going to have to get my mom to watch because she will confirm it. It's rather funny really...

I believe Java and I are meeting up with michikatinski tomorrow. I'm no longer Catholic, but that'll indeed make it a Good Friday! :P

Okay, most of you don't know me well enough to know that I and my hubby daydream about San Diego in our daily lives and wait all year for April to come around since we're guaranteed to head down for Opening Week of Padres baseball.

But now you know. :-D Between awesome seats at that game this Saturday to seeing the Hollywood sign yesterday to seeing Pixie and Java tomorrow, to seeing Station 51 of Emergency! fame to Easter egg hunting with my in-laws and nephews and hubby and daughter, I'm loving this trip above all other San Diego trips. I'm one happy lady.

Tonight is the first of my two overnight shifts. I'm presuming I'm already going to be at work when the results (EEEEK!) are posted. Right now I'm maybe a third of the way through the poll. Great stuff, everybody. I mean that. Everybody brought their A game :)

TWO WEEKS! W00t! Two of my co-workers are there on vacation this week, it's their first trip out there.

I love me some Vegas - we went last February; I think the hubby and I have been out there half a dozen times. Good luck with your upcoming nuptials, wish I could be there!

I made little Easter bags for my co-workers, with chocolate bunnies, some stickers, a few candy-filled plastic eggs, and a small script foam initial (their initial, not mine).

We have a half-day off for Good Friday tomorrow, w00t.

My poetry writing attempts are going swimmingly - I wrote a pantoum poem late last night, and I *really* love it, even though I doubt anyone would pay me $50 for it, never mind $10 million!

I'm too tired to discuss light fixtures. I still have quite a few pieces to read and comment on. I have no idea how I'll get to them all before 9 PM

I left the church long ago, so the only thing the upcoming weekend means to me is a family gathering I'm obligated to attend. It's not that I don't want to see my siblings, but I have a ton of things to do and the weekend is when I usually take care of those tasks.

Yesterday was a day full of all sorts of emotions. I told the spousal person that and he said "Isn't that just what you call a day?"

I got hit on at work, I didn't have time for lunch, I made a mistake, I spazzed out about the poll, I convinced myself that you were all secretly mad at me, I was simultaneously overwhelmed by all my new friends and how awesome you all were (thus why I was so upset at the idea that I'd somehow made you all mad), and yeah.

Today - well, I drove by the scene of an accident that had just happened. A person in a wheelchair got hit by a car. I've been crying and.checking the news for info.

Looks like Survivor's Tarzan is turning in to the guy you take with you to the finals because no one's gonna vote for him. This week's show was interesting as it was unclear -- even among the factions -- who was getting booted off.

Kinda like the vote here today. Keeping track of our progress requires math -- which is not my friend.

I think I'll go back to the corner of the Green Room and keep searching for that hidden Immunity Idol.

I love playing "guess what evil Gary has in store for us next" and had an interesting idea...

What if he split the tribe up by ranking (top half and lower half) and made someone from the top half have to pick a partner from the lower half? That would stir things up a bit and as someone who likes supporting the underdogs, I could totally get behind that. It would only take into effect the most recent poll standings though, so it could be interesting.

But then again, the poll is really tight and I'm never very good at guessing what Gary is up to. It's just fun to think of possible scenarios.

My day is a dull dull thing. Had an IEP meeting for Takota and for once my intrusive mother was not with me (she is my ride) . It went a lot faster with out her tangents.
Moving my trees outside and will have to repot them (meandering orange and key lime) .
Oh and I cleaned house yay.
Other then that it's typical end of cycle crude.
Oh, you all missed hightekvagabond's 40th birthday this week he has started the road down hill. Feel the fun.
