The best way to ensure that you will be sitting back and enjoying cupcakes is making sure you get your entry in on time - and then you can stress out and enjoy the comfort elements of cupcakes to sooth your inner torment.

Or, at least the inner torment within you that *can* be soothed. All of the cupcakes in the world aren't going to make a dent in some of your "issues". ;P (I'm looking at you, you know who you are... *cue paranoia*)

My cupcakes failed this weekend. So no cupcakes for me. Boo.

The weekend was very nice though. Java and I both had our entries done on Friday, we beta'd on Saturday and had the rest of the weekend to relax. Which we did. We tried out my Hulu Plus account for the first time in months and discovered Once Upon a Time. We just lounged and watched TV, which is very unusual for us. But nice. We may try to do this more often. We usually run errands and write our entries on Sunday and almost didn't know what to do with ourselves since we did everything early. I think that's a good problem to have considering I normally feel like I never stop moving :)

I think I have another sinus infection. I've felt like I was on the edge of coming down with something for a couple of weeks, because I opened up my work availability to 11pm a few nights a week, and that's totally wrecked my sleep schedule (which was already not where it needs to be). Then yesterday I was suddenly super congested, and had a bad sinus headache that didn't go away all day, no matter what I did. I still have it, though it's responded enough to medication that it's mostly a dull ache, rather than the face-explodey levels it hit yesterday. I only have about four weeks until my choir concert. Plenty of time to work this out of my system, right? Right?

And I have one possible entry done, that I worked on before rehearsal yesterday, and I'm working on the second idea this morning. I wanted to have them both done before getting feedback on them, but I don't know if I'll have time for that before I have to leave for work.

So, not only did I get my entry done yesterday, I officiated my very first wedding! That was pretty neat. And, tomorrow night is this (http://trimetdiaries.com/2012/03/humanity-on-wheels-an-evening-of-mass-transit-tales-this-tuesday-3202012/), and I'm beginning to get a little nervous. Just a little.

Oh, and I bought my suit for MY wedding. And got my hair cut. And... pretty eventful weekend. :)

For a Monday, this has been a great day. Liv almost refused going to school altogether, but aside from that, it's been pretty good. My morning in court went quicker than expected, I stopped at the local shoe outlet after court since I had some extra time, and found shoes for 90% off which are just lovely and perfect, AND I was able to write up my entry for this week so that I didn't bye out. Phew!

Now if only I could settle a couple of cases, I'd be all set!
OK, back to work for me. I can't believe it's almost 1 pm already.

Well, it was quite a weekend filled with collapsing cupcakes, alien/ghostly voices, corned beef and cabbage, multiple injuries sustained at the hands of pixie117's furbabies as well as some serious relaxation and downtime.

It wsa a wonderful weekend indeed. Except for having a 100-pound dog take a flying leap onto my stomach which seriously knocked the wind out of me and having the same puppydog smack me square in the dangly bits while out in public. Trust me, I had to hold back the tears on that one.

It was weird being done with my entry so early this week. I'm so used to scrambling right up to the last possible moment that being done and linked already is... weird but kind awesome.

I had a lovely weekend. I got to reconnect with an old college friend for the first time in about 15 years. It was nice to spend the weekend just being goofy, listening to music, painting our nails, eating really bad-for-you food.

The best friends are the ones who come to visit and just enjoy hanging out and eating cake at 3 in the morning. And discussing which celebrity chefs we'd shag.
