In my world, I'm still so sleepy. I have yet to get enough sleep since coming back from vacation, I've had one good night of sleep and that's it. Ugh. Though last night wasn't terrible, I just stayed up too late. I went to dinner and frozen yogurt with a friend and got the real dish on why she signed up for Idol and never posted an entry :P

Work hasn't been bad, it's been slow this last week which is nice. My boss finally came back in for a bit yesterday before off to more meetings. He gave me a late Christmas gift - a Petsmart giftcard! See? I have a great boss who knows me well.

Now if only I could get a promotion out of admin work, life would be good.

I knew I was overtired when I fell asleep during Top Chef last night! Usually when I have the late shift at work I'll come home firing on all cylinders and won't get to bed until after 2AM. Last night was the exception.

When I saw this GR there were no comments. How could this be? I thought. And then I clicked on comment and saw the dreaded "Read 10 comments". My heart sank. First eluded me once more.

Today I am trying to find ways of keeping my screaming preschoolers not quite so screaming now that my husband will be working from home a lot of the time. It's an interesting challenge currently being met by throwing a couple of children in the bath (metaphorically speaking, I hasten to add!). I have also unpacked another box so I am one tiny step closer to having moved in properly. I have a puppy going to sleep at my feet, an idea for my entry this week and one of my other writing assignments written. All in all, I'm not doing too badly right now!

In other news, I am currently trying to apply for a job and my printer is letting me down in some weird way that I haven't quite figured out yet. I would email them, but I already tried that and the email address failed so it wouldn't deliver. Sending the letter in an envelope is already Plan B...

Aw, thanks! I'm relaxing at my mom's house, going to the circus (one of my favorite things) and having lunch with a dear friend who is also the author of Those Across The River, which I highly recommend if you like gothic or horror! (I don't like either, but it's a great read and transcends genre).

It's gonna be another crazy busy day here and then this weekend will also be hectic.

My very sick dog appears to be on the mend. He spent 2 days at the hospital with pancreatitis. The puppy has more than doubled in size since we brought him home. He's not adjusting to his new crate as well as I'd like. He liked his smaller crate better but he out grew it.

Annabelle had pancreatitis before too :/ we caught it afterward though, she was healing already. I hope the pup feels better soon.

Why do you think he's not liking the new crate? Annabelle transitioned easily, but then again, my ex made us keep her in the smaller crate until she was really too big for it. She was relieved to stretch out I think!

Don't have any votes but I do have a kindle fire on the way. Had some issues with in acurate data on my amazon account but got it fixed and it will arive on the 11th.
Also, decovered that I can e-publish my book for freeish with amazon so I just have to find someone to edit it for me, combine all 13 chapters into one file and the go and upload it with them.
Think I might do the same with my poetry also.
