Results - Week 5

It is that time again.

It feels like forever since we were here, due to the extended week. I'll admit, it made it easier to ignore the fact that we would be losing more people this week.

Looking at the group that ended up going, it's tempting to go back in time and further extend that week. But unfortunately, I haven't found that time machine yet.
It's a mixture of newbies and veterans, which seems to be how every week has gone so far.

But before we get to the unpleasantness - there is an upside to the week. We are eliminating 9 contestants this week. Which isn't good, except for one aspect of it. That means there wasn't a tie this week. There were a few that came really close, but in each tribe there is someone leaving us. The upside of that is that Tribe Redemption was lasting as long as there was a tie. So for anyone stuck in that group, you will be in your new grouping next week. Congratulations, you survived!

Which isn't much of an upside for most, but I'm trying to find the silver lining here, so work with me people!!

Like I said, several veterans, and promising newbies, on that list, including our next to youngest contestant of the season. Not sure who is the youngest now, off the top of my head.

I really hope that all of them will continue to participate in the Home Game, and show up in the Green Room to hang out, and cheer other people on. After all, you can never be too sure what is going to happen next, and there is traditionally a point to re-enter the competition, somewhere along the way!

Hmmm...
Can't say this is a surprise, after seeing how low I was trending this week. Obviously, writing what is essentially a fanfiction set in what is a fairly obscure science fiction book was not the best choice, but truthfully, I don't think I would change it.

I would like to thank all of those who have voted for my entries so far.

I have not been reading all of the Green Room entries, so this has probably been answered somewhere along the way: For Home Game entries, where/when do I link them? I noticed that in previous seasons some weeks there were Home Game topics, some weeks not…

I know the two because they are not only veterans, but the children of veterans.

I'm blanking out at the moment, but I know there was someone earlier this season who was in their late teens.

As for birthdays, some times they mention it, and I happen to see it. Or they are on my friends list either on LJ or FB, and I happen to notice it! The best way to get your birthday in the Green Room is to mention it to me a day in advance! :)

I plan to avoid my birthday along with the mentioning of it.
Birthdays are a dangerious time. There are people lurking every place waiting to make you take stuff that you usualy dont want - like clothing. My clothing is just fine even if I still ware items I've had sence high school. Besides, they end up giving me cloths that are horrid. IT's disterbing and frightining. Also they make me eat cake.

Ooop, ah, well! I've been absolutely rubbish at networking this season (why oh why, Great Gary, must LJI start right around the same time as NaNoWriMo?), and I know full well I've been sticking with a concept traditionally considered to be a hard sell.

By the way had all sorts of hassles here trying to get anything posted yesterday!
Think the gods of the internet are kinder today, hope so as I have some writing to do. Think its fun rather than fiction for this subject.
