Anyone who has spent any time in Idol knows that, over the course of 8 seasons, that I have changed the deadline a handful of times.

I like to consider every single case to have been an extraordinary circumstances. Usually they are bad.

This is a good one.

But it does mean that, having come up, that I need to shift the deadline for this topic back several hours: http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/495977.html (I could move it UP, but that wouldn’t be fair IMO. So I move it back and give you more time, rather than suddenly having less.) It was at 8pm EST. I’m moving it to Midnight.

I apologize for the change of plans. It does give you more time to read ahead though! Which is always a good thing! Read, comment, and maybe mark down your favorite entries so that as soon as the poll goes up, you can vote for them!

Ooh, extra procrastinations finishing time! Yay!

I had a surprisingly fun time at my choir retreat. Usually I get social overload, and get more and more tired as the weekend goes on, but a group of us went for a walk on our hour of free time, and we stopped and played at a playground on the way back to rehearsal. It was the most fun I've had in a long time.

Ahhh the boyfriend will be happy to hear that! I didn't think I would get any entry done this week, but I'm glad I did!

Weekend was good, minus a big piece of tooth that wasn't removed cutting the hell out of my cheek!

Watched some movies, ate too much food, slept in. Not bad at all.

An extended deadline, yay! I have no idea whether that will get an idea to sprout in my head (seriously, this is the longest I've gone in a topic week without even a hint, a shred, the teeniest tidbit of an idea), but I appreciate it nonetheless!

My weekend was OK -- probably the last really nice (for relative definitions of 'really nice' -- sunny and in the upper 40s) here in the north for the fall. Snow's a'coming this week, and with it the drop in temps to around freezing for the highs, etc. I also had Friday off from the one job, which is always pleasant.

Hope everyone's Monday is going well! Or, if not, at least "marginally tolerable for a Monday" (which is often the best you can get on a monday...) :D

As far as ideas go, sometimes you can do a "word association" to help you out - who or what comes to mind when you think of narcissism, or narcissistic people, or even narcissus flowers? Does anybody you know have a really big ego?

A lot of folks don't like to read entries before they've posted theirs, but if you're stumped sometimes reading a few might get your juices flowing. It's a thought, anyway!

Yay for an extended deadline! I won't be needing it, but I do know a certain boy who will likely be very relieved that he has more time. I didn't distract him, I tried getting him to write and got nothing but excuses... And then he fell asleep on my floor last night (holding my dog's toy nonetheless since he went down there to play with her).

We finally saw Paranormal Activity 3 last night. Very good and creepy. We made gingerbread with lemon glaze too. Yummy. It was a good weekend, it just ended too soon as usual.

For the love of all things fuzzy, this is some of the best news I've gotten today.

Weekend was mellow, but good. Went to a house show with a friend, ate chocolate at the mall with her, then took some hot food down to the Occupy Tacoma camp. Also, I cleaned my house and drank a bottle of wine. So, it was a good weekend. :D

That's a good surprise, especially since I still don't know what to do for this topic.

The weekend was okay. We finished watching all of the Harry Potter movies (I'd seen all but the last one, he'd only seen the first one) and I made things with yarn. I wish I could be making something with yarn right now, too, but no. (You'd think if I finished everything and still answered the phones, they'd let me work on a scarf or something. Nope.)

I did get some tragic, horrible news yesterday. I can't have chocolate anymore. I'm not coping well.

RL has been keeping me out of Idol lately. My computer stopped working last Tuesday and it only came back Saturday so I've been playing lots of catch-up. I guess my nice surprise would be this super nice weather we're having. We've had lots of perfect days lately.
