I've been up all night finishing off Catching Fire! Shit just got intense :\

Tomorrow - or rather, later today - I'm heading down to the city to spend the weekend with the sister and brother-in-law. I'm hoping it doesn't rain like it's forecasted to because that would be a downer. And next week, I'm heading into the city with an LJ friend for the official opening of the Harry Potter Exhibition and hopefully - fingers crossed - we'll get to meet the Phelps twins. Exciting!

Anyway, I've finished reading and voting, and I just realised that I will be on a train when the results and new topic are posted. Booo.

OH NOOO not first! I managed to stay up late enough to witness a fledgling green room. I really need to get to bed. I wanted to talk to an online friend about guy trouble...

Long story short, I broke up with my boyfriend of many years recently but we still act like we're together because we talk every night and I still send him naked pictures. There is this one guy who comes to game night who I kind of like and I think he might like me, but he's probably too shy and awkward to ask me out. Also, I'm visiting this online friend who... also happens to be a guy in December and I like him and he's really cute and... we're staying in a hotel together XD;. That sounds really dirty now. lol.

I always get myself in the most complicating scenarios!

So I was trying to get advice from my friend online but he's a guy and as soon as he heard my ex was getting naked pictures he was like "WHEN DO I GET THEM?" >_>;

I had a dream last night that my boyfriend proposed to me... so strange! And there was something about a car chase and a group project at college (which I'm not in anymore) and my groupmates thinking I was weird for not shaving my legs during winter. Gotta lay off those pancakes before bed.

I spent last night between reveling in HOT water and watching essential TV (OK, Bravo's "Work of Art" isn't essential, but it's interesting just the same). I washed so many dishes it wasn't funny. I took maybe the longest shower in history.

Today is the Great Archaeological Dig of my desk :shudder: and finishing reading about archaeological by-products :D Oh, and dinner. What should I make for dinner tonight?

I'm miraculously on task for NaNo (well, I haven't written for today yet, but I was on task yesterday).

Tonight I'm making dinner for my fam because both my parents are extremely busy. I'm thinking risotto with mushrooms and asparagus and maybe butternut squash soup because I have a GIANT butternut squash from our farm share to use up.

I have a kidney infection on top of my usual stuff, so I'm kind of just truckin' along and trying to get everything done, but it's really odd when your organs hurt.

So, so terribly tired. Got my favourite Monster Coffee drink. Hoping it can rev me through the day. Work seems quiet enough that maybe I can finish up reading. Stayed up way too late the night before, so it's thrown off my sleep.

Hosubaindo was all "Told you so", but then looked properly sympathetic when I kept myself awake coughing for yet another hour. This sinus thing has got to go.

I am going to throw up an official rec list post this evening again hopefully... I know, I know, it's the day the poll ends, but time just isn't on my side with these many entries to read. I have two more tribes to go... I hope work continues to be slow so I can read them there.

But here's a few I think should be doing better esteletheque, minnesattva, phoenixsansfyr and alien_infinity. I have a larger list of recs, but most of them seem to be doing very well in the polls.

And I am starting to see some of the same people that continually make it on my rec lists, so I guess I'm starting to get some favorites, huh? There are a few newbies I have my eye on this season and those are sonophax and milk_and_glass amongst others I am likely not thinking of at the moment (and including some of those I listed above).
