It’s also the first day of that NaNoWriMo, for people who decide to write a novel during the course of a month. It is also the first day of the equally famous Na-Nu Na-NuWriMo, for people who decide to write Robin Williams fan fiction during the course of a month.

What will you decide to do with this new month? Where will you take it? How will you shake it? How will you bake it? Will you enjoy November here or there? Will you enjoy November anywhere?

Good morning! So excited for November as so many very exciting things are happening:

*Traveling back up to Cheyenne for the rest of the week today, which means karaoke and dancing tomorrow night and sister time some time!

*New apartment at the middle of the month - the hubby and I are sooooo excited to move out of the one we're in now

*Thanksgiving closely followed by the hubby's b-day

*And, of course, NaNo. I always say I'm going to keep up with it and get my 50K words. This year, though, I'm really going to! I just know it! ^_^

This month, I'll be reading and possibly writing a bit of flash fiction in the Google + Nano Flash circle that I have joined. It's a great way to encourage writing for those of us not quite ready to tackle NaNoWriMo.

This month is also my birthday month! I'm sure my lovely wife will have something or another up her sleeve by way of celebration.

OK, I should leave it there before I murder the poor Dr any more than necessary...


Today was Melbourne Cup Day, I took the dog to the vet for an unsatisfactory visit, and we went to the park (those three things are completely unconnected). I also wrote 644 words for NaNo and had a GOOD GRIEF HOW AM I GOING TO DO THIS moment, which has since passed. Eating three Mint Slice biscuits helped.

Tomorrow I'm hosting my first write-in, so I hope someone else turns up! Luckily I've got the baby to keep me company so even if I'm on my own, I won't look like a complete loser. Well, no more than usual, anyway ;P

I'm excited for my bread as it'll be the first bread I've eaten aside from a batch of scones, since I went to Subway with my BFF a couple of weeks ago. I'm too cheap to pick up storebought bread and I've just not gotten around to setting up a batch of dough to rise overnight.

I'm just happy to be here for November at all.

As far as reading entries, I might have some time to read some tonight. So far I love dslartoo's entry. I think that is how you spell his username. I just happened across it out of the blue. Other than that, I've just read entries from people on my flist as I see them.

Today I have a doctor's appointment I am nervous about. After that I'm getting my nails done and a few other things before I have to go to class. Yay for extra days off.

I never buy bread either... It just goes to waste since I might eat one sandwich out of a loaf. I'm not a sandwich person. I like fancy breads every now and then... But a loaf from the store? Nah.

I've never baked my own bread before though... I bet that's good stuff.
