These are difficult choices, but I'm sure that I'll come up with something just as thought provoking!

We're doing all right. Keeping busy... We have two appointments in the afternoon related to mental health type stuff and a heck of a lot of housework to do since we're going to be out of the house pretty much all day tomorrow to do plotting since I'm not getting anyone on my NaNoBoston feeler wanting to help run a satellite planning session for NaNoWriMo... :(

My children? Destroying the apartment, as is their wont. Which means that later today, I'll be trying to return it to it's original condition so they can do it all over again tomorrow.

Facial hair? Goats. Definitely goats. Though Rich has that full beard now... Hrm... must think on this more.

Autumn? Well, she's my cousin and she is pretty co... oh. Wait. Not THAT Autumn. Yeah. The season. It's pretty cool too. I like the dropping temperatures.

And how am I doing? Pretty fine, all in all. Procrastinating the things that I need to do (as is my wont) but knowing that the time will come soon enough that I'll have to leave the safety and security of my computer for the wilds of the rest of my apartment and, even more scary, the wilds of the grocery store with two kids in tow.

If you don't hear from me again, you'll know that I was lost in those wilds. But I hope you will hear from me again. *gulp*

Oh, the question about the children makes me think of that movie, When A Stranger Calls which I first saw when I was thirteen. It's a long story with which, of course, I will now regale you ;D

So I was at boarding school, and of course we weren't allowed to watch this movie, because we were too young, but one of the older girls taped it and so we got up really early on Saturday, before the house mother was up, and went into the TV room and watched it, and it scared me... well, let's just keep the language clean and say it scared me. So much so that when I was first going out with M seven and a half years later, when he would stay over and I needed to go to the toilet during the night, I would come back into the room and whisper, 'Is it you?' to make sure it wasn't some scarey stranger who had knocked him unconscious and put him in the cupboard and who was then lying in wait in bed to attack me.

And we didn't even have children back then.

In issues less to do with the instability of my mental health when it comes to thriller movies...

I'm very excited because tomorrow I'm going to see an arts manager at a local council about using their resources and rooms for NaNoWriMo write-ins, and then will meet my sister for coffee near her work! Wow, what a social life :)

Also, Tim Tams now come in honeycomb and turkish delight flavour. The turkish delight are delicious. I'm yet to try the honeycomb, but that's just a matter of time.

In semi-related news, I just shaved off all my facial hair yesterday after having a 'beard' for at least four months, and everyone around me is now telling me that I look weird.

I can't decide if this is a good thing or not.

At least they're honest. My dad shaved his beard off after 35 years and I told him I didn't like it. He said everyone else had told him he looked much better and so much younger without it, and I told him they were just being polite.

Today's a good day so far. ^^ I slept well, woke up well, am dressed... well, and I have my "It's my birthday this week" earrings (http://www.etsy.com/listing/81704120/rainbow-cake-earrings) on!

Best part is I have Precalc and C++, neither of which had any homework this weekend because of the tests on Thursday so I just have to show up and don't have to worry about anything! Except my test score in Precalc, the online Angel resource was doing some weird things yesterday....

And it actually feels like fall for once!!! :D
