23 foster kids agree that it is important to protect our borders from illegal immigrants and people who aren't posting in either (for contestants): http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/469789.html or (for Home Gamers): http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/470713.html !!!

They also want you to submit your Spirit award nominees: http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/470043.html

Most of all though, they want you to know they know who the Bruins are and there is something important going on - although they don't seem all that certain about what that something might be!

There are plenty of difficult questions for you out there in life, and they are hoping to hear your answers - like, thin crust or deep dish?

Deep dish for me, thanks! Thin crust is icky :P Actually it's okay as long as it's not also crispy. I need soft crust :)

I didn't get as much done as I wanted to do today because my maid has been sick for the past few days, which meant I had to do stuff she normally does. Oh well. At least I made my 2,000th LJ post today! :D

Thin-n-crispy crust is the SHIZNITE, though. Thin-n-soft isn't too bad, either.

Deep dish is also..

Heck with it. I just like pizza.

I'm from St. Louis and while I used to hate it, I grew to love it's signature crispy, thin crust pizza. People mock it, saying it's like eating a cracker with cheese...but I miss it like nobodies business. Most people don't know that St. Louis also has a signature cheese called Provel that you can't get anywhere else (no, not provolone). It's mighty yummy on the crispy pizza. There's a local chain I have to eat at every time I go home and I introduced to [livejournal.com profile] java_fiend when he visited.

That being said, I also love Chicago deep dish. I can't decide on my favorite. It depends on what I'm in the mood for.

I am less interested in pizza and more interested in the cheesecake I'm currently making. This is a bit of a practise go because I want to see exactly how much hassle it is before I commit to making one again for a birthday.

So far: it's a lot of hassle. It had better be worth it.

Also, is anyone watching Game of Thrones, and if not, WHY NOT?!

You know it really depends on who's MAKING the pizza. If I'm ordering say, Pizza Hut or Papa John's, it's normal crust or occasionally deep dish. If I'm going to a real NY style place, it's always thin crust.

Camping at the KOA this weekend was AWESOME! I highly recommend it for families. Our kids were solid GONE the whole time until night fell. The stopped by for money or drinks occasionally, and that was about it. Arcade, moon bounce, swimming pool, life-size chess, mini-golf, horse shoes, volleyball, biking, these sit down cycle bike things they rode all weekend long. The only drawback was the camp full of deaf people down the way, when one of the kids cried off and on all night and none of them could hear to stop it. And the boy scouts who started firing cap guns at 6am. So, next time I'll bring ear plugs, but otherwise, it was an awesome time!

I have a home game entry to work on at some point today. After being out sick yesterday I have a lot of catching up to do around here at work. I'd better get moving!

See, I despise Papa Johns. And Dominoes. And most chain pizza places this day. Pizza Hut is about it and I rarely even do that. I prefer small, local places for pizza normally.

Glad that camping was fun! I so want to do some outdoor stuff soon.

Can't wait to read the home game entry!

I like New York style pizza - it's where I grew up. The bottom crust is relatively thin, although not quite "thin crust" thin as it isn't crackery-crisp, and there's a nice, thick outer crust to hold onto and gnaw into. Yum!

I also like Chicago style pizza, which is deep dish, although all that crust makes it *very* filling!

It always saddens me when people leave the outer crusts of a pizza - I think that's the best part, especially if you've got a stuffed crust and/or garlic butter dipping sauce!!

Damn you Gary, NOW I want pizza.... *sigh*

Unless I'm in Chicago, where the deep-dish pizza is just brimming with awesome.
See? I'm flexible. (Tho not so much when full of pizza)

...Oops. Just realized Gary didn't use the word "pizza"

-- perhaps he was talking about geologic composition on rocky planets? Thin crust would be exceptionally tricky for all but the lightest landing craft, yet the deep pockets could have treacherous hidden gas vents or unfriendly indigenous life.

There, I think I've about covered it...

While I certainly have a preference for thinner crusts over thicker crusts, I will say that there's way more to me liking a pizza than just the crust. I've had horrifyingly bad thin crust pizzas and thick-crust/pan pizzas that have made me think I died and went to heaven. Everything else (sauces, toppings, cheese level, etc), it all goes into make a pizza good/bad/awesome/puke-inducing/whatever, just as much as the crust does.

Now, if only I could learn to make the Caribbean jerk chicken pizza I love so much... lol. ;)

You hit the nail on the head! There's so many aspects that go into a good pizza. I like all kinds depending on what I'm craving at the moment. I've had gourmet pizzas thar were more fancy thananything I could think of, then I've had greasy local specialities thar are to die for. There's so much range in pizza...

Maybe I'm thinking about this way too much. What do you think?

Hundredth!

Just posted my entry. Broke my heart writing it, but its what came out this week.

I like odd crusts - like honey wheat.

Kitty has an appointment with the vet tomorrow to see how he's doing on the meds. He keeps wanting to eat dust, which is usually his way of communicating that he's not pleased with the food choices. He gets so much medicine mixed in with his food that I think it wrecks the flavor for him. Poor boy.
